In addition, the Special 6 Ultra features a multi-position Depth control designed to fine-tune the low-frequency depth; this feature is designed to allow you to voice the amp’s low-end to suit various guitars, pickups, speakers, and musical styles.
The Special 6 Ultra ships with a 6V6 output tube, and it is designed to accept a range of alternate output tubes as well. The Special 6 Ultra also features an all-tube buffered effects loop.
The Special 6 Ultra Combo and Head share the same chassis, circuit and layout design and configuration. The Special 6 Combo comes with a 12” VHT ChromeBack speaker.
