See previous opinion for the characteristics.

Note:
No memory function of the ISF (an end to the con to talk about a very interesting équalo for a particular grain), so even grain for clear channel and overdrive.
No reverb or vibrato.
A headphone output with HP emulation!
An effects loop!

UTILIZATION

We live in a great time, the stuff is really getting better for the price lower and lower. This little head is really interesting. Excellent sound with a really great feature in the top of this price level: an output with HP emulation (very convincing) and an effects loop. This allows you to register home studio with impressive quality with respect to the means employed. You can even fun to use your VST effects via the effects loop and record the output line emulation with HP!
In short, this little head was designed to:
> His guitar work with headphones
> His guitar work with config hp of your choice
> Register directly through the headphone jack or effects loop
> Play live transplanted or not (if, if possible)
So versatile ...

SOUNDS

The sound is a matter of taste but for me it is very good. Clean or overdrive is excellent, with a particular égalistion for finding an original color. Oddly enough I feel like the EQ section is only used to change the sound color or timbre but not the EQ itself, saying that the settings are not stringent as my distinguished predecessor.

I regret that there have not onboard reverb and vibrato, these days it would have cost the price of the switch provided (a closet with a useless little high) and suddenly it cost externality skin ass.

The value of head is to be able to choose his hp. The combo version is cheap and does not sound good. Try a vintage 30 (Orange PPC112 for example) or a Blue Alnico and you will fall down.

You can also take the cheap Blackstar combo better than the basic 112 or Blackheart Epihone valve junior, it is not shit. Then you can invest € 90 in a vintage 30 or € 300 in a blue alnico (I quote because I've tried and loved). But your investment can be justified only on the condition of having a guitar in height. This Blackstar has good HP can be used to wonder the best guitars in the world.

OVERALL OPINION

This product is an excellent choice if indeed its features are what you want. It is very well positioned in price because it offers more valuable compared to its competition, the Tiny Terror is really expensive and less versatile, the Blackheart is given but has no effects loop or the equalization of Blackstar, the amp modeling offer many opportunities but no sound as alive as the Blackstar ...

However, it does not seem that the price be the only test that you can remember, if you add great hp, reverb, modulation, a distortion or something, consider the total price before you inspire. There are some great combos that integrate all this with some superior qualities.

Anyway, if we take the product for a simple tube amp, it has its place in all categories of stuff, the cheapest to the most prestigious. It remains to be known reliability or that the change could make lamps.

For my part, I was looking for something to work with me as well as with friends (I do not moves with the head), with as little clutter as possible.

I am fulfilled.
