See the website for the characteristics DV mark.
120 watt lamps.
No effect.
A little reverb would have been a plus.
The weight of the beast: 10kgs!

UTILIZATION

Config very simple: 3 channels
No brainer: bass, middle, high, gain, master and presence for each channel.
Channel selection, solo and effects loop activated via the footswitch supplied with the head.

The manual is clear but in English (okay I'm an English teacher :)), also available on the website of the brand.

For sound: I have only played 30 minutes (parcel received that day ...). However, even without taking the head, it quickly gets very, very good sound.

SOUNDS

My style: metal, but not solely.

SOUNDS

My style: metal, but not solely.

Clear channel: finally a real clear sound, beautiful, hot, nice! (That I changed my line 6 spider 2 ....). More from that attack the strings a little crunch it! This is great. This means that I can play with lots of nuances.
Channel 2: officially crunch channel, I will definitely use it to make good metal rhythm among others.
Channel 3: hey hey .... It includes the name of the head. It's heavy.

I play Epiphone Les Paul Standard with Seymour Duncan SH6. With DV Mark 4x12 Cabinet (20kgs!)

In my humble opinion, a lot of possibilities with this head: jazz, blues, rock, punk, metal .... Even if it is clearly a priority for the hairy barbarians.

I love all the sounds I've tried so far.

OVERALL OPINION

Daily use.

My first tube amp! I have a line 6 spider 2 (2 × 75 watts), a small Marshall (Lead 12) and SR Tecnology (Jam 150 plus).
I've played a Peavey 5150 in the past. (Very good amp but too typical and not enough opportunities: including lack of true clear channel).
I was tempted by Mesa Boogie (too expensive) EVH 5150 III (a little less expensive, but I'm not a fan of Van Halen personal) and Marshall (not necessarily the best option for metal even if the JVM 410 looks interesting ...).

For now, I like everything in this head.

Value for money: Excellent! (Commissioned by a famous internet on German site. Prices I think I have the last head stock because it was no longer for sale after 2 days. Moreover, it was more expensive before).

I am delighted to have had at this price while it is still on some sites in 1000, 1200 or 1500 euros .... I would do this choice without hesitation.
