Fuchs Audio Technology will introduce the new Mantis 50 and Mantis 100 series amplifiers at the 2010 NAMM Show.
The amp was designed using customer feedback from artists such as Troy McLawhorn (Seether), Dan Spitz (Anthrax), Joel Stroetzel (Killswitch Engage).
Channel-A is an “American voiced”, medium gain channel, well suited for classic rock and blues. Channel-B possesses a more “English voice”, with higher gain, a scooped midrange, and a cutting rock edge that picks up where the A channel leaves off.
The power stage features accent (for more high end grind), thrust (for extended low end) and a global master volume. A true-bypass +4/-20-db level tube effects loop, custom wound power and output transformers, powered by fan cooled EL-34's or 6550's.
The Mantis uses premium switches and connectors, metal shaft controls, boutique quality passive components selected for tone, mil spec fiberglass two sided circuit board construction for consistent long term performance, 5-year warranty (excludes tubes), according to the manufacturer.
Made in USA and CE and RoHs compliant.
NAMM Show: You can visit the Fuchs booth in E Hall, Booth 1681 on Friday, January 15th and 12pm and Saturday, January 16th at 1pm at the 2010 NAMM Show.
Price: TBA
