Hughes and Kettner have some of the best sounding amplifiers on the planet. This a German company who designs high quality guitar amps for touring musicians and the average consumer. This guitar amp features two channels for dedicated for the cleans and one for the distortion channel.

This has great fluid distortion tone with the flick of the switch. The clean s are equally as amazing and sound very authentic.

SOUNDS

This amp has a fantastic clean channel. You get a nice sparkly clean that has a nice presence control knob that allows the shimmy to come through and not affect the distortion channel. This is the best feature in my opinion on this amp You get two presence control knobs which allows you to turn the clean one up so that you get more shimmer and sparkle and then have a totally separate presence control knob for the distortion channel. This allows you to have you highs to have more under your control for each channel.

The gain channel is supreme mega ultra gain. With the flick of the lube switch you get the tone to smooth out more and be better for lead playing. This allows you to play more fluidly with lead lines. One cool feature that I have never seen on an amp.

OVERALL OPINION

At new these amps come in right at around $1999. Not a bad price out all for a very controllable amp that has two equally great channels. I would recommend this to the drop tuning players who need multiple channels or someone who likes the voicing of this amp or just the nu-metal type voicing. Greta priced amp for what yo get.

UTILIZATION

I have the HP virtual home of my Marshall cabinet (Celestion G12L) and I replaced with new Celestion Century Vintage (killings, in its hyper pchu, Defines, which curve of rponse frquence will marvel at the big distorted sounds). I finally put HP in a quality adquate with Warp X, and I redcouvert my amp. P.. In, what's HUGE! The distortion is really great grazed, supe hot (all the harmonics are really in tune, giving a saturation hyper music, even if it is super aggressive). Really Satus style Mesa / Boogie, with more tonal and more cheaply. It's really more than a standard JCM2000, much hotter than a big style ENGL Fireball. Printing will sound even further as it is physical, we feel the sound through her body. For me, the only amp to compete with the Warp X in the CATEGORY Metal are VHT Pitbull and Framus, but they are much more expensive. The Warp X is a killer in his hyper modern and super hot. I highly recommend it.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months. It is the nickel level. Hotter and more powerful in sound than Engl.
I love it, it's really good trs. Potato hell, its fat ... and in addition it is the best amp I've ever seen. Hughes & Kettner has really high level look. The faade plexi that dvoile lamps that heat, the Warp logo that lights up the ds light the bte ... It is a pleasure to watch, ds that we just turn it on and we expect that the heat lamp. In short, gnial.

The settings are easy to obtain, there only to turn the knobs, and off you go!

Apart from the technical details, we have a beautiful head! Just the amp on, you are captivated by the red LED lights that illuminate the facade but also with his Plexiglass wall! so beautiful! Nice finish, comes with a black cover on the outside, red inside!

UTILIZATION

Setup is simple with simple! A clean channel (presence, treble, mid, bass, volume) and a channel WARP (master, presence, treble, mid, bass, gain).

SOUNDS

After several months of use, I can finally give an objective opinion on this head.
The clean: Pretty amazing to have such a good clean on the head of this style! The presence knob allows a range of sounds impressive slam, crystalline, warm, round, anything is possible! The EQ is super efficient. Clean and remains clean at high volume. Probably through the preamp used, selected ADP.
The Warp: Contrary to what one might think that the channel is not disgusting drooling, not accurate. Think again! The crunch is part of its sound capabilities, and does it well! The light bluesy crunch to creamy overdrive fatter and teeth to the AC / DC, anything goes! Again, the presence knob makes the difference and providing a real diference following the trimmings! Push the gain to 2 / 3, boost your bass a little, then you enter into the sphere WARP! Reserve incredible bass and gain. All this while keeping the attractive grain of H & K. It's boiling hot, it encourages really turn up the volume! The sound is thick, very present in the lower midrange (serious)! And the more you drop your guitar, plus show off the amp! With 2.5 tons below is unrecognizable! The palm mute are breathtaking it really encourages debauchery. WARP multi-channel are great because the crunch and "WARP" breathtaking.
Conception really great: devastating look with red lighting!

-The best quality / price ratio while current 120W lamp.

Only criticism that can be done (must find one), no dedicated channel to the crunch.
Will explain why the price is € 749 argus!
