The Jet City is a head 20H 20W All tube amp with two EL84 and three 12AX7.
This amp breathes strength in all cases!
A single channel with 3 band EQ, gain, master volume and presence control.
A guitar input, a speaker output 16 ohm speaker outputs and two 8 ohms.
He may miss a reverb (though on this combo) and an effects loop, but at that price ...
UTILIZATION
The setup is very simple and we obtain immediately a good sound! Is connected and it plays!
ultra high settings are effective and equalization is very effective.
SOUNDS
I play rock (blues-rock to ska-rock to classic rock) and this amp is perfect for that!
Whether at home or in a rehearsal (with a drummer who hits hard, a 2nd guitarist and bassist), power is impressive.
The clear sound (gain of 2 or 3) is really usable, but this amp really impresses when you push the gain to half with a superb crunch and beyond for a great saturation.
I use a Hamer Standard Custom (Explorer shape mahogany and maple table) which is equipped with two Seymour 59 along with a Start 'CP60 equipped with microphones Hepcat Series L, and I must say that the amplifier meets perfectly features and sounds of these 2 different guitars.
In all cases, we find the Soldano sound, and I must say that personally I love !!!!!
OVERALL OPINION
I recently but I can not stop playing on it! Yet I forsake my great Marshall Custom VHM!
In any case, for the price (289 € in my case), I do it again this choice without thinking! The quality / price / pleasure is exceptional!
