UTILIZATION

Archi simple: you plug, you play: very few settings, just enough to find her. Here, no "Presence" / "resonance" / "voice" / "ISF" and other crap cluttering the front of my BLACKSTAR (albeit very good) that waste time, or worse who doubt!

SOUNDS

One EQ for both channels ... this chick is! The animal sounds in all configurations, which is the main difference with the amp mentioned above ...

The clean channel is aptly named: it remains completely / damn / forever / clear (?) Clean almost to the end of the stroke of the single knob that controls it, even through the entry "hi" and avoinant like a big beta killer guitar. This is the Achilles heel of Mr Hector. So if you want a (very nice!) Crunch is through the lead channel and / or play the guitar volume ... not very convenient, that! The saturax are Kolossales: it sounds really serious from the gain to 12, it's still audible through (compared to some ENGL example) ever draft ... That said, difficult to consider anything other than death / black past 3am.

The "Mid switch" is very convenient: it really changes the way the vehicle sounds ... For simplicity, we pass a sound and deep bass Manly (Death Metal?) to ultra saturated sound with more treble and sharp (Black Metal?) ... In both cases, it does not really kidding.

I love Palm Mute this stuff ...
The effects loop I like: version "Annihilator" said head (special edition) has a second effect loop ... that it must be nice!

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a year and I am delighted: by his record and his organization, he reminds me a lot my Ashdown Fallen Angel with a luxurious finish, excellent reliability, versatility and much more Gain reserve. The sounds are a big bit better too ...

This is a great amp, with a charming personality, very musical with a side "roots" - never cold, cut to good big Metal but able to venture into other records with some talent .. .

A word on the baffle Laboga "premium 4x12 Vintage 30" that I use: it fits beautifully in this superb amp: it sounds better than almost anything I've tried ... better than baffle correct anyway ... In addition to her good taste not to weigh 50 kg (see Orange Engl) which is a real plus ... . The spirit sorrows moaning as they had to take advantage of their small muscle session, do not panic: it does not come with wheels ... so you'll be able to make your little arms anyway. Note that it is not supplied with a bottle of one of these great drinks his country of origin, that I deplore. It operates in 16 ohms ..

I'd love to try the 3x12 cabinet that is supposed to be even better after the guys Laboga: it should not be little, well ...

I would recommend this amp to any nationalist Poles seeking a ballsy amp, handmade, and able to rub anything else ...
