100-watt all-tube amp with high and low gain inputs. The front panel settings are very simple and effective: one resonance switch, one presence control to boost high frequencies, bass, mid and treble controls, switchable gain controls and one master volume. But I must say that one channel is not enough. Perhaps some people would also like to have a reverb???

On the rear panel you'll find an effects loop, a slave input for an external preamp and a slave output to use only the preamp of the unit. You also have plenty of speaker outputs with different impedances.

I give it an 8 because it lacks a second channel.

UTILIZATION

As I already explained, the amp is not complicated at all, it is actually very easy to use. The reduced number of settings (no noise gate or reverb) doesn't mean the amp isn't versatile... On the contrary, its flexibility surprised me.

SOUNDS

I play all sorts of music styles from Hendrix with my Strat, to fat blues with my Les Paul, to Children of Bodom or Kalmah with my ESP.
The amp can handle anything without a sweat... but be careful with the presence knob because it tends to overemphasize the high end.

OVERALL OPINION

I like the amp because it sounds great (even at low volumes), it's rugged and easy to use.

I miss a second channel to be able to toggle between a big distortion sound and a clean sound... That's why I use an A/B box to switch to my old Line 6 amp for clean sounds.

I don't like: the price, I guess I won't be the only guitarist around using this amp!
