Tube amp with one channel! But what HIS !!!!

UTILIZATION

SOUND sending live !!! Easy to use with a guitar and some effects between the guitar and the Mig 100, it sounds like this is not possible! an alarming signal to noise ratio, I tried the Marshall and I preferred the sound of the Mig 100 for its responsiveness, its equalization!

SOUNDS

Excellent for everything so it's clean !!!! Taking a slap whether clean or saturated ... besides we can play with the pots of the guitar to send the saturation is good ... otherwise you can also use a pre-amp saturation , it works superbly! I actually tried multiple with this amp and never disappointed !!!

OVERALL OPINION

For 20 years I have! Never failed !!!

Equalization is accurate, the power is amazing !!!

If I have one caveat to this amp ... its weight but good considering the sound I forgive him!

This amp is the definition of heavey metal....so forget about any soft music unless it's an 80's power ballard...there's a hi and low input and the low input is not clean!!....Even set at a volume of 1 the distortion and harmonic response is incredible...I have never been happier with another amp in my 20+ years of playing.

Absolutely nothing...with the slight exception that reverb would be a nice addition

construction is like a bomb shelter...very rugged build inside and out...no frills toggle switchs and pots..it sid blow my mind that the rear output jacks have some plastic content (probably to isolate from the chasis ground) and sever have cracked...a simple $2 fix...not an issue.

Bottom line is that it sucks that they are no longer manufactured...I'm such a fanatic that I'll buy any available...and I have built exact replica's for a small cost...plus I have several mods that are pretty awesome....I can build anyone a 50 or 100 watt if interested.

Bought from a pawn shop $200. I got it because of Sovtek's great reputation and
the great deal.

This head is absolutely BRUTAL. It is all you need, just raw power. No FX loop, reverb
, channel switching, or anything like that; just a pure 100W all tube amp. It has a high
and low gain inputs with Presence, Mid, High, Low, Master, and Volume controls.
It has a 16ohm, 8ohm, 4ohm, and line out. Power is provided by 4 5881's and preamp
is 3 12AX7A's. Modifications are easy because of its point to point wiring and their
support is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is a killer head and a great value.

It is pretty damn heavy and it uses plastic switches. I have never broken any, but for
road gigging, I put in metal ones just in case.

Construction is very solid. All point to point wired. Could probably use metal switches
though.

This is a great amp. It is just pure clean power. I love it and it is extremely reliable. It
has survived the wost road abuse. I do use a backup just because it is a tube amp
but for the 3 years I have owned it and gigged constantly. It eats my Marshall backup
for lunch. I have never had a problem. It may not be for everyone, but you have to
check it out at least. For the price there is almost no excuse not to have at least one.

Power 100 Watts: Sufis in all contexts, I've never pushed more than half of the master and the dj is much too strong.
2 between low and high, no effects loop.
Setup could not be more simple.

UTILIZATION

The configuration could not be simpler because you only have to connect to. sound.
May be missing an effects loop.

SOUNDS

It's a straight head trs that restores the sound sent to it with great clarity.
Personally, uses it to rock, metal and jazz and is comfortable in all styles, only peripherals guitar and the guitarist will be the difference.
She, however, more comfortable in the rock record because a one pluttmdium Tone.
I use it with a couple JMP1 modified and Gx 700 for effects and it works great.
JMP1 associated with it works well and can rev to have good saturation and monstrous Dfine.
Power is phnomnale and I always have to stoop over the BPS in another guitarist who plays Marshall.
I Retube Svetlalna with 6L6 and it works even better and the sound has a wonderful grain.
the natural distortion of the amplifier is interresting and can work for rock nerv but you have to play strong
In conclusion it is just a head lamp which is an excellent base dpart To create its sound.
It is difficult enough even in her characters because of his roots (single canal, no, no reverb effect).

OVERALL OPINION

I bought about 10 years ago, new for 3000 francs.
The report price is unbeatable quality to a head lamps.
I would do without this choice hsiter but is no longer manufactured.

- Power: 100 Watts, but compared with a JCM900, it seems to be two times more powerful ...
- Connectivity:
> 2 jacks on the front, one for between 'Low' gain, one for between 'High' gain
> 3 the rear jacks, mono speaker output for either: 4 ohms, 8 ohms or 16 ohms
> A socket 'Line out' the rear (never tried)
- Rglages: Bass, middle, treble, presence, and Master Volume

Warning: no effect, no rverb, no distortion (unless one uses the saturation of the channel 'High')

UTILIZATION

- Configuration: ultra simple, as there is no effect. It's clear the RULES, that's all
- Sound: Personally, I use only between the 'Low' to make me gain a clear sound. APRS, it is impractical to add his effects pedals, or other pdaliers
- Manual: I have not had since bought second-hand ', but no need to understand how it works

SOUNDS

- Music style: trs good amp for rock, probably also for many other styles of music

- All Tube Amp (three 12AX7 and four 6L6)
- 100 Watts RMS indicated (users have measured up to 125W without damage).
- High input and low input, 3 outputs, respectively, for a firm of 4, 8 or 16 Ohms.
- Parametric equalization of low, mid, treble, and presence, + master volume and gain.
- No effect (or even effects loop).

UTILIZATION

This amp is very simple to use, the settings are very intuitive as there is only 6 knobs in all, one may complain that these knobs can not change quite radically the sound of the amp apart in the acute but have we really need?!, the amp already sounds great with all knobs at noon.
It is unfortunate that the amp is not equipped with an effects loop, but if the gain is not very high we can make just about any direct effect on the facade.
The amp also has an output line out but I have not tried it yet, (I'm afraid to burn something with ..)
VERY IMPORTANT: to preserve the life of your lamps check before turning the amp on the second switch is in STANDBY, the receiver must absolutely stay a while in standby to heat (up to 30 seconds) that n is heated after that you can play with.
this amp is built like a tank, it is very solid, well protected against noise and dust, the only downside is on the manufacture switches and input jack PLASTIC! the manufacturer must surely would have bitten your fingers because it is the only problem with this amp, but the switches are not chocolate anyway, you just do a little attention.

SOUNDS

We should not delude ourselves The Mig-100 amp is a rock and hard rock (with a distortion pedal can be made of metal with no problem), it does one thing and he does very well, not to hide this amp is actually a perfect clone of the Marshall JCM800 2203 edition, so it's no surprise that it sounds almost exactly like this beast, I say almost because instead of the Sovtek EL84 Marshall has lights puissace type 6L6 (like you see on Fenders and Mesa / Boogie among others), Sovtek is the world leader in vacuum tubes, I am not in position to challenge their choice of technology, malmsteen but said if it sounds good then it is good.
I would just say that I checked myself in the diagrams of Sovtek and marshall and actually it's the same circuit, so it's not a rumor or a hoax that I found on the Internet.
I tried this amp with an Ibanez RG, with applause and with a homemade guitar and it sounds bold, strong and precise, even at high gain, it is very suitable to my style of play (shred, neoclassical, .. . etc).
originally had this amp stack in half with a 4x12 cabinet with two Celestion and Eminent two, but as I had occasion I have never tried this cabinet, but I think the best thing would be to marry a firm based celestion (greenbacks, G12H, Vintage A30, etc. ...) after all it is a Marshall and this is what Marshall chose his amps.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for a few weeks only and I am very very happy I had a lot of interesting proposals to sell it but I refused because it really is the amp I was looking to have, set apart sound qualities of this head is very strong and it is a very considerable avatage because it can grow more easily in your 4x12 distortion mechanical or even comfortably use a full stack configuration with two firm (and I want to do), the total power of 380 Watts of power is! is supposed to kill all the other heads of this range.
Before I played this amp will acquire a modeling amp like Roland Cube, but I also tried Marshalls and Fenders .., the head seems to have something special, it has the character and strong and we quickly fell in love.
