*I, II, III switch to switch between which 5150 amp you want to play
*Voicing Switch to switch between two different voicing styles - one is smooth and one is more aggressive and can tailor your tone for leads or rhythym...
*Mid Sweep - This super versatile feature allows you to fit your mids from standard 5150 through German-amp tones...

    UTILIZATION

You can get TONS of amazing tones...The open gain of the original 5150, the refined brown sound of II, and the assault of III...The Mid-Sweep can allow you to get standard angry 5150 mids all the way through ENGL-like tones...

There is more gain on tap on this module than any other...It's simply crazy how much is there...You can scoop your midrange with the voicing...

It's got a lot of features but is very intuitive and easy to get great tones...The manual is on the bottom of the module and details each switch and which position it corresponds to...

Plus, Rob is very easy to communicate with...Jaded Faith customer service is the best in the biz...If you want anything specialized on your module, they're always willing to accomodate...Questions? YOu can go righ to Rob or to the dedicated community of passionate users on the MTS Forums...Here you can talk shop, buy/sell mods and MTS gear, and get awesome detailed responses for any questions...

    SOUNDS

I use my Les Paul Custom (1981) through this module and it just sings! ALl my other guitars also sound great through this mod...

My fave tone is tightest setting, mid-sweep fully counter-clockwise, voicing down, and III mode...This is sooooo mean....The II mode can yield some pretty awesome VH crunch...And the I is pure 5150 original bliss...

There is no real clean channel on this but it does respond well in crunch mode with the volume rolled off on the guitar...

    OVERALL OPINION

If you don't know about MTS, this is the kind of product that will make you a believer...

The value is sick considering you get all things 5150 in one little preamp module...The precision and quality of sound are dead on...I'd buy it again if something happened to it...

Hearing and playing this mod makes me giggle at the thought that there are people who have all 5150 amps piling up...I can bring this mod and a MTS amp and match them note for note! And then some!
