Transistor preamp with "warmer" sound per lamp (V3 technology, which in my opinion is useless ...).
all input / output imaginable.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, basically there is just a gain and a volume ... What is a preamp.
I put 9 because the knobs are symmetrical for both channels, and I it bothers me, I have repeatedly confused the two volume knobs and gain ...

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is ok, but nothing more. I think the lamp is useless ... I bypass when I serve. For comparison, I have a TF pro, and it has nothing to do in terms of sound quality, because the dynamics of TF Pro is far superior. That said, for its price is very good, but do not expect the SPL or AMEK ...
I also have an M-Audio DMP3 which although also very good for its price (its very neutral) is slightly lower than DPSII in terms of dynamics.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it because it is the only preamp with digital I / O in this price range.
It's a Swiss Army knife of connectivity. It allows me to use two additional digital inputs of my Edirol UA-1000 S / PDIF to the frequency I want.
I would have preferred a compressor or limiter in place of a lamp that is useless, but it's pretty good in the dark ...
