Technics SL-1200 MK4

I have recently mk4 the sl-1200, which is normally sold in Japan, which I purchased with a intermdiaire amricain on the Internet.
After having older decks, and recently a Denon DP-dj101 I never t happy because poorly equilibrated plateau arm unstable antiskating disastrous, as I already own opt a MK2 6 years for the quality Technics, by acquiring the MK4 ... to listen to my many 78's in good conditions of the faithful.
Why prcisment platinum?
1) for the overall quality which is no longer admontrer technics.
2) the technics are very well plates equilibrated (better than their imitations I see t ... but hey, I shall not hesitate here ...)
3) I wanted to direct drive by the rotor Intgr shelf (like mk2)
4) I do not want the old features a roller intermediate or even belts: ca aging badly and it does not protect the engine vibration over the direct drive of quality.
5) I wanted an S arm and not a right arm, high quality as the mk2 ...

Obviously this board, I paid 776 dollars before tax, excluding the port from Japan to France, and the power adapter that goes from 220 to 100 volts (as this stage, scheduled for March Japanese only, is only 100 volts, I pay this 50 dollars)

Let's say that my pleasure at any cost me 1000 euros for this plate, this may seem expensive to many people, but the difficulty is so great to find a platinum quality reliable, efficient, robust, quip e speed 78 rpm, to reach Euro 1000 as to the result I get excellent, I am very reasonable.

I use a celulle OM 20, which I changed the diamond by the N78, 70 micron spherical, for the standard paths of the time, and I found the quintessence of these discs, bands and singers. ...

I dedicated the sl 1200 mk4 listening to 78s, and kept my mk2 for 33 and 45 rpm, so as not to touch the settings ever, and cells, weight and antiskating: it more convenient for me.

It's been a year since I hesitated to buy the mk4 sl 1200, because the procedure is quite heavy, but now I do not regret my purchase, and I know that I finally found the plate that I had to scan and listen in good conditions.

For fans of 78's, if there are others on this site, I invite them acquire a MK4.
