2 XLR inputs with power supply fantme (used in Stereo or spares thanks to software provided with the interface) & 2 gain knobs, 2 instrument inputs (a padd e, not the other), 2 vumtres vintage, 1 headphone, 1 monitor output Stereo, 1 x USB, etc..
it works with simulation software type sound pod.
I use AKG C2000B microphone or a pair of samson c01, a PC with Cubase SX3.
UTILIZATION
I struggled to run the sound card for a simple reason: there is no manual included with the interface.
I appeal to users of the forum Audiofanzine to get out.
In fact, I'm not used sound cards that work through software, I always boss ddies interface with the recording.
the big diffrence with a normal sound card is that line6 offers in addition to simulation models of major brands for decision-guitar or bass, and cuts & all kinds of effects for decision-vocals, guitar acoustics, etc..
use is therefore using this app on which you must choose between the card we use DSIR.
APRS, the use is very simple, the software does not take much cpu, and you can bypass the simulations to have a basic sound.
GETTING STARTED
Dcrochent drivers when I go to another software without having closed the first.
it's a little teacher, but you get used to quickly close an application before starting another.
cubase sometimes tell me that the sound card does not work, it is sufficient to close other applications of its reprciser & DSIR that the driver used in the config app.
for the moment, I felt absolutely no latency, works perfectly with Cubase SX3. same simulations amp loads effects do not cause latency.
I use it to catch in its homestudio: vocals, guitar live.
I will test it with an ending for bass & keyboard.
your exact trs is good for this type of hardware.
for now, I did try once to use the micro simultanment 2 tracks 2 tracks for spares, but I was not Russian. it will take me to revisit the issue, but I think it's a problem setup cubase & not the TonePort.
otherwise, in Stereo, and Mono, whether taken for mic or instrument, worked perfectly.
OVERALL OPINION
The point of this little ngatif sound card is that it does not possde MIDI input / output, but line6 will come out with a version Intgr midi keyboard, which I strongly believe, will carton if the product remains in the same price.
the highlight is that it possde 2 XLR inputs & 2 instrument inputs with a USB connection for less than 200!
the amp simulation is gniale to play electric guitar or bass 2am 'without rveiller neighbors!
dcrochage of the drivers is a bit Gnant. has just snapped my speakers every time, that's what scared me the most.
Briefly, the gain TonePort be more stable.
this is not the general hardware, manufacturing is plastic, we feel that it is a cheap product, but since I have (about 4 months), I had no fault or dtrioration of hardware.
INTERESTED other point is its design: it is REALLY a nice interface, its two vumtres extras are vintage style & work perfectly well with the latency of real vumtres needles.
it does not take much space but is not rack, which is not too serious for me.
sound level, I am REALLY happy with the TonePort, catches his own & do not suffer any blows.
I plan to buy a micro prampli type presonus BLUETUBE dp to give a little color & body as this card remains trs transparent & neutral.
short, I am delighted with my purchase plutt Despite the difficulties in the boot, but it's true that if I could, I would have expected the version with midi keyboard Intgr.
was still a good sound card for its price & I highly recommend, especially for guitarists who can not afford to use an amplifier to make their models in homestudio.
