USE

So Easel floyd rose (real), a micro emg 81, a volume knob, a handle end a little extra to the ibanez but more comfortable and slippery. The paint is gold and black, nothing to say at the features, this guitar is great!

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, access to more than treble is easy. The form may pose some difficulties in sitting game, but you get used to it especially that the horns are rather thin so in the end you hold the guitar on the left leg and ca not pose a problem.

SOUNDS

I tested this on a big guitar amp Marchall, and the small disappointment! Already there is only one emg 81, which is rather good for the metal, but for the clear sound even when it lacks an emg 60. It requires almost a dedicate this guitar has the distortion that is unfortunate.

OVERALL OPINION

I went to the store to try it even if my choice was rather on a flying V (unbeatable value for money) and I'm left with my Flying V, even when that is far above. The RR24 is very beautiful, well finished, extremely comfortable, but the single emg 81 putteth not really worth. If she had had an emg 60 or 85 more I left with, it's on!
This is a good guitar, but which lacks versatility.

UTILIZATION

The handle is painted (and does not stick!) And rather flat, perfect for fast rhythm and solos. I recently I bought it because my old Randy Rhoads did not suit me, especially the number of boxes, I wanted to customize when I saw this model (like, not insignificant, the old RR custom of Alexi Laiho, the singer-guitarist of Children Of Bodom). I fell for the Black & Yellow and I was lucky, I got one very quickly with the best binding effect. It has a devastating look, plus the class.

This guitar is for metal, not for anything else. I expected that this MODEL, a rhandy rhoads (the most beautiful model in my opinion any company confused) with an emg 81. jadore this pickup. OVERALL OPINION

I possde this guitar for 6 months and some things I think are important trs:
at its point of view, no surprise with an emg 81's was the ultimate hard. by attention to the fans against whistling notes, harmonics, especially in the bass is difficult to whistle (from a Start for example)
-Most:
accuracy is always the one with floyd trs prcis the rhythm on the E string and is really extremely clean, the quality of the key in bne is really that it does best (I made three albums in the '80s hard, I have had many guitars but I never jou on a handle like l. gn touch ral of the guitar (especially the back of the handle or pushes the flow) is very smooth, trs trs smooth.
- The least:

I'm playing now with two different set ups. jacksonrr24 recording preamp mesa * * Boss gx-700 in effect in a loop * Mackie Onyx 400-f to stand out in an Alesis RA150 in columns jvc home theater giant. Set up great because I record my rhythm with this setup is very clear from the lamp.

Clean level is nothing that beats the single coils (especially those of my "quest" (cheap guitar with a Stratocaster body) .. but the sound is awesome .. The EMG 81 is when a driver for him.

I also have a Crate 120 watt in which I tried without effect, without flafla. A guitar - a son - the crate ... cest worse the brave shit. I do not think that the cons by rr24 will be for nothing.

I compared with rr1 with 2 seymour and I am satisfied with the level quality / price I think this purchase is unbeatable.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been around a year.
The best guitar I have (and I have many) but the only thing deplorable CEST on floyd. I do not know if cest just on mine but the floyd is not very fluid.

I have also been forced to do so after adjustment for me because otherwise the hole or it is not going to put down asser. So the Floyd can not get a + octave upright ... I did put a crooked little to win but hey .... +

I'll probably buy the new model rr24m for the pleasure of having her twin. I hate the maple neck but I'll try. But I am trying to lie because jai actually discovered on rr1 3bay has approximately the same price ... So: P viva made in United States.

OVERALL OPINION

I had the opportunity to test this guitar several afternoons since the last purchase was a friend.
For metal and the rhythmic much evil there is no problem but when we want on other sounds better take another skyscraper, it makes a bit expensive the "distortion pedal of wood" ...
For me the price / quality ratio is really bad because once again it is confined to its low level and when the proposed round wood and there is nothing to make up for the price!

Jackson does okay in listening to its customers but sometimes they are really late with their models. People were asking for this model for years when Children of Bodom where one of the biggest metal bands around. When the band was becoming huge their frontman Alexi Laiho used a Black 24 fret Jackson RR with a single EMG in the bridge and paint on the bevels. Everyone wanted a guitar like that but you could only order one through the infamous Jackson Custom shop, and if you did that you would probably end up waiting 50 years to get it. Finally Jackson deicded to put out the guitar but only after Alexi Laihos personal guitar got stolen and he switched to ESP guitars. Laiho stated that he went to Jackson to get a replacement but they could not make him one in time. Now Jackson has it as a regular model and it is pretty reasonably priced. You get the Classic RR shape with a 24 fret ebony fretboard with the sharkfin inlays. The electronics are dead simple. It has an 81 in the bridge and a volume knob. Floyd Rose with a locking nut finishes the guitar off.

UTILIZATION

With the RR shape the upper frets are not as easy to reach as they are on most Jacksons but overall the playability is good. The ebony fretboard feels good under your fingers. The neck through design means there is no heel so that is good too. Jacksons at these levels come with compound radius necks. The neck radius moves from 12 to 16 as you go further up the neck. This means that on the higher frets the radius is flatter making it easy to bend but on the low frets its more curved making chords more comfortable. The Floyd Rose on this guitar is of a good quality and will stay in tune when properly setup.

SOUNDS

With the 81 in the bridge this guitar is a metal only machine. EMG makes some of the best pickups for metal. Many players around the world have used these pickups for years. They are active so they need a battery to run. They have a built in preamp which boosts the signal from the strings. The 81 gives you a nice high end gain. You can get an awesome metal tone for modern metal music with this pickup. The sound is tight and punchy. With just the 81 in the bridge the guitar is not that great for clean tones. If you want to make the guitar sound even better with the EMG pickup you can do the 18v mod. With the 18v mod you run the pickup on two 9v batteries instead of one. This gives the guitar a more natural sound overall. It increases the pickups headroom and gives you a more organic tone.

OVERALL OPINION

A few years ago these guitars would be flying off the shelf. Since Alexi switched to ESP new fans of the band have no idea of their history with the classic Jackson guitars. Old school fans of the band will love these guitars. Metal players in general will like these guitars. The shape is metal and they come with metal pickups. What else do you want?

His bold, powerful and crunchy to perfection (I have always found that the Jacksons equipped with EMG (s) always sounded harder than ESP, their stuff I guess). Not necessary to push the distal bottom to scream the beast, the EMG is there for that and he responds very well. The sound is very clear, every note is clear even if you push everything thoroughly.
In his clear, micro bridge is not the best choice, but there are ways of using a chorus and playing on the treble / midrange of the amp to soften a little while. Again, buy guitar knowingly.
What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?

For 1 week and believe it or not but this guitar is a reverse fast hands! The handle may seem strange at first because of its shape fairly flat but once we play, we do not regret its shape!
