UTILIZATION

The handle is painted and varnished, which is very pleasant, even when the guitar is new ...
So it is relatively late (for me) very fast.
Access to treble is fairly easy, but it is not what is the best. Although the neck-"neck-thru" helps a lot, shall have been screwed a handle here very penalizing for access to past cases (unless you have big hands).
The frets are large enough, which is normal because the metal guitar to a vocation, so lets have a big sound.
The only EMG81 confirms this by adding to it a precision obviously foolproof.
When the form is one where the other we love or hate, it's like the tastes and colors, ca not be discussed.
The guitar is light, perfect for playing up (and accessories on stage ...), which is usual for Randy Rhoads, for against, it is very well balanced, and that's unusual and it is a good surprise. Indeed, on a guitar like the RR3 as soon as you let go of the handle, she had a habit of nodding.
To play seated, the first few minutes were difficult for baptisms in RR, but those who have tried other Flying RR have been there. Just stalling his right knee between the two horns, and it went ...

SOUNDS

This configuration is perfect for my style of music, ie the metal.
Unfortunately I play on an amp unsuited to this style, a fender deluxe, but with a good set and good effects, it makes a devastating! A killing.
This guitar is not made to be played clean, the position EMG81 bridge is there to remind ...
In distortion on the other hand ... no problem (thank you active EMG)
Harmonics fuzz, a real treat!
This guitar because of its unique micro and a single recess may knob is versatile, unless an RR1 for example, but when you buy this guitar, we know why we buy it ...

OVERALL OPINION

I recently I bought it because my old Randy Rhoads did not suit me, especially the number of boxes, I wanted to customize when I saw this model (like, not insignificant, the old RR custom of Alexi Laiho, the singer-guitarist of Children Of Bodom). I fell for the Black & Yellow and I was lucky, I got one very quickly with the best binding effect. It has a devastating look, plus the class.
Exactly what I wanted, a little detail about me if I could make a Jackson.
I tried many model in this form as a Gibson Flying V, but it's really a different style, Jackson RDX10, RR3, RR1, or the Kevin Bond my only regret is not having tried an ESP sv-standard .
The only spot for me is the plate at the back of the guitar made its fake ... but hey, once a screwdriver ...
This guitar is clearly oriented metal, for those who do not play that style, try the front, the other ...
But good for the price of this Jackson, € 1300, retail price, so negotiable (I got a € 1070 in store) it is fairly well positioned to compete, the finish is not bad at all.
It is clear that I do it again this choice without hesitation!
