iZotope and Avid partnered in order to include the Insight metering tools suite to the new Media Composer 7.
Insight will come pre-installed in Media Composer 7 as a 30-day trial version, and features audio loudness metering, peak detection and spatialization tools (Surround Space and 3D Spectrogram) designed for broadcast and post-production.
Media Composer 7, which had been unveiled in April (see this news), is now available for $999. Updates are available starting $299. More info at www.avid.com.
