ThaLoops introduces Grand Piano, a multi-format virtual instrument based on the sampling of a Steinway B211 grand piano.
Available in VST, AU, SF2 and Kontakt formats for Mac OS X and Windows, Grand Piano is a 3.5GB sample library of a Steinway B211. The instrument was recorded with a SSL 4000 console, three pairs of AKG C12, Brauner Valvet and Neumann U-87 microphones and high-end preamps.
Each note is completed with 5 velocity layers and ThaLoops programmed Close Sound and Distant Sound presets, as well as a Baby Piano for hip hop productions. The GUI allows you to control a reverb and ADSR.
Price: $39.95
Grand Piano is available at www.thaloops.com. Note that the Kontakt format requires the full version of the Native Instruments sampler.
