Ensemblia Metallique is focused on all kinds of metallic mallets, asian sound sources and domestic percussive sounds.
Tonal Instruments include Vibraphone, Metallophone (warm, raw, dead notes), Alto Bells (natural, leather), Glockenspiel, Kalimba and Spieluhr (natural, raw).
Percussive Instruments include Wok, Salad Bowl, Singing Bowls (low, medium, high), Tingsha and Metal Drawer.
Ensemblia Stringed is focused on traditional and unusual string instruments in all shapes and forms. Instruments include Autoharp, Banjo, Hammered Dulcimer (Sus, muted), Kantele, Lute, Guitar Harmonics (elec, accoustic), Monochord, Nylon Harp, Ukulele (Tenor, Sopran), Zither and Piano.
Both can layer up to 7 instruments at the same time and give quick access to a broad range of timbres and tone colors while playing. A special voicing engine will split notes and chords automatically into separate voices and let you individually assign them to each particular instrument. They are equipped with a voicing engine that lets you easily spread certain voices to particular instruments. While playing notes or chords Ensemblia automatically analyzes your playing and splits all incoming notes into 5 voices which are low – midlow – mid – midhigh – high. You can separately assign these 5 voices to each instrument and step at your own requirements..
A 16 step ostinato engine arranger is also included. It sets the velocity, the voicing and the octave for each step and instrument separately and plays the flexible patterns using only notes and chords that you are holding down. As a result you can get versatile musical patterns and riffs playable in all ranges and speed variations with no pre-recorded phrases.
In order to use either of them, Kontakt 4 full version is required.
Ensemblia Metallique and Ensemblia Stringed are available separately for €115 each. A special “All3” bundle including all three Ensemblia series instruments (these two plus the original Ensemblia v1.5) is available for €349 (a special special bundle price is available on demand for previous owners of Ensemblia 1.5).
