The Austrian company presents their latest software innovations for integrating tools and workflow into MIDI and audio production environment.
This includes the new Vienna Ensemble PRO 5 with integration of the new Vienna MIR PRO mixing and reverberation solution. The new Vienna Instruments PRO 2 software player and the Vienna Suite plug-ins, now including Hybrid Reverb, complete the software package. The presentation stage is hosted by Vienna’s American distributor, ILIO, at booth #6724 in Hall A of the Anaheim Convention Center.
As a special NAMM offer to customers in North America, ILIO will give away the free Vienna MIR RoomPack “Mystic Spaces” for every purchase of Vienna MIR PRO through January 31, 2012, either at an Authorized Vienna Dealer, or directly at ILIO.
Vienna MIR PRO for Mac and PC is based on Vienna’s Multi Impulse Response (MIR) convolution technology. The software combines directional frequency profiles with reflectional information from every instrument, assembling all of the acoustic interactions into a recreation of musicians playing their instruments in place and in space. Vienna MIR PRO is connected with Vienna Ensemble PRO 5, allowing for integration into audio production environments. The software comes with 11,000 impulse responses from the Vienna Konzerthaus, offering five acoustic environments and including the Great Hall of that building.
The Vienna MIR RomPacks offer additional acoustic spaces for Vienna MIR PRO. RoomPack 2 “Studios & Sound Stages” includes 19,000 individual impulse responses of the Teldex recording hall in Berlin as well as three recording studios of the “ORF Funkhaus”, the public radio broadcasting building of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) in Vienna. RoomPack 3 “Mystic Spaces” offers 4,200 impulse responses of churches, such as the outstanding “Steinhofkirche”, one of Vienna’s famous Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) landmarks and the Late Gothic pilgrimage church “Maria Strassengel“.
Vienna Ensemble PRO 5 is a cross-platform MIDI and audio LAN solution for Macs and PCs, merging the parts of the audio production process: Hosting of Vienna Instruments (PRO) as well as third-party 64-bit and 32-bit VSTi/AU plug-ins, mixing with parameter automation, in stereo and surround, and integration of Vienna MIR PRO. Vienna Instruments PRO is the sample player for all Vienna Instruments Collections, featuring an internal Auto-Playback and Pattern Sequencer, hundreds of new presets, Auto Humanization, enveloped time stretching, automatic cell naming, enabling/disabling cells, and more. (Stand-alone and AU/VST/RTAS plug-in.)
Vienna Suite offers ten audio processing plug-ins (AU/VST/VST3/RTAS), including Equalizer, Master Equalizer, Limiter, Multiband Limiter, Compressor, Exciter, PowerPan, Analyzer, Convolution Reverb as well as the new Hybrid Reverb.
