OVERALL OPINION

J uses PVE, for 5 years in the replacement version of the map, here is perfect for me, I have made known to friends who do the same as I use, they are very satisfied. What I like the most is the improvement of MIDI sounds my machine, its simple installation and registration possibilities super easy to implement. What I like least-j'men crazy, I do not use it is the software or the eventual possibility of using its sound with a master keyboard or MIDI guitar.
CONCLUSION: VERY GOOD IN LIEU OF A SOUND CARD (often poor) to your computer.
I would do this choice because it is too easy to carry with laptop computer and immediate quality of sound, MIDI arrangements have potato in a PA system.

I'll be a little softer than the previous opinion, but I too am quite disappointed with this purchase.
To begin, I think a lot of pb mentioned are now resolved in version 1.5.

Hat for the installation and great integration with Windows. Works without pb with all MIDI softwares windows media playeur same. Works perfectly with my old Cubasis VST 3 (and more amazing no latency in contrast to all other VST home!
In short, a 10/10 for reliability and the very use of a machine "office" with a sound card built into the motherboard it works perfectly.

For cons, I'm very disappointed with the quality of sound. Frankly, it's nothing special. Some instruments are even catastrophic, including some sax or applause (I know, this is not essential but I realized-account via a MIDI ended with applause! A horror!)
I prefer the sound of my (very) old SC55 or my Yamaha PSR 1000
I was looking for sounds "realistic" brass and wood for my Akai EWI 4000, except for the clarinets that are nice (especially jazz), else: Yuck!
Hopefully updates will fix this poverty I've already done but nothing more conclusive at this time.
2 / 10 for 300 so-called hyper-realistic sound praised by the brand! do not push it anyway.

I Prodipe for two months. When I got Cubase, I wanted to test it with a VST. So I'm all ct from home in a bookstore who was selling multimedia. For 99 euros, and for this kind of VST gnraliste, I never expected something that would break everything, but when even! The sounds are not ralistes, sometimes even I read twice because the instrument select between what is marked and what you hear has nothing to do. The strings can be a lot, there are some voices "particulires" but INTERESTED, but otherwise it's dbandade! As noted below, the saxes are vritable a disaster. Prodipe not allow you to return an Philharmonic Orchestra! A component in a mouth hole, but that's it!

Easy installation, made on windows 2000 and windows XP. As often with PC at the end it is necessary to restart the computer. I can not stand it.
The manual is not bad.
The config is easy, but my oldest computer sound was marred by cracks and I had to change by keeping a zero setting "power of the sound card."
Once used Prodipe it may happen that the sound card does not work anymore, it has reallocated Prodipe standard output to the dongle (because there is a dongle, not possible to hack this app just by copying CD), the dongle with a microphone input and headphone output. My PC has the least powerful Windows 2000 and a 1.6GHz AMD Athlon (1.1 GHz clock) with 512 MB of RAM.
I feel that should not be less.
Compared to the sounds obtained with only windows and a sound card base is clear is much better. I have a Roland U220 Prodipe and sounds are better.
In absolute terms there is still room for improvement, especially the guitars are not terrible, the bass is not great. Battery is average. The sax is not bad, there is also an organ which is good.
Beware the reverb is rotten, and if we put on the percussion makes this reverb adds a kind of noise / distortion unpleasant. I almost return the product because of that, because the default config is the reverb on the percussion, but eventually I realized the trick.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it on sale to 28.5 euros. At this price it's going.
But in absolute sound quality is still low for a product which is the main function.
For me it is a product that suits me because it improves my system, but I can imagine that others are already better equipped than I to object.
