One of the things that made me fall in love with Hypersonic was how many sounds and presets it has. Not just that either, the quality of those sounds and presets and that it has them all broke down into proper categories so you don’t have to do too much searching for the sounds you are looking for.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

It runs great with FL Studio and doesn’t crash or cause any problems to my desktop computer. I have been using Hypersonic for years and it continues to get used, even though I have upgraded to the newest version now. Everything with Hypersonic works great and no manual is needed because its that easy to understand.
But since its that easy to understand means that there wasn’t enough options for me as far as editing the sounds and adding effects to them. With each sound that you load up only gives you a few options to change , you cant edit all the parameters like you can in a lot of other vst’s that are used.


OVERALL OPINION

I think Hypersonic is a great software plug in with high quality sounds and im glad that I purchased it. I also happy the sounds are as good as they are right from the presets because if they weren’t you wouldn’t be able to change to much about them because there arent any options to really dig deep into editing the sounds. This was the first version of Hypersonic that came out and I think they made a great impression with this one and it even made me get the upgrade (hypersonic 2) not too long ago. Good thing is you will have a ton of sounds to go through and it will take you a while to use most of them! I am not sure If you can actually still get this version of hypersonic though since version 2 is being sold.

I have the soft for a few hours.

I'm not as hard as the view Previous concerning all sounds, I would simply say that it is better to know what you want to do with the hypersonic because it can really dcevoir or On the contrary complter a virtual chain with soft tones and complmentaires my case!

So hot that opinion can help you avoid a bad choice or on the contrary!

- Installation is no problem it?
Yes, no problem, it starts the installation, do nothing, the drivers for the USB key installed on its own. When the installation is finished and we connect the cl is launched hypersonic! that's all!

- Have you encountered any incompatibilities?
no, more leaves and have the usb cls cl of hypersonic APRS can also have "charge?" to run cubase sx, so a single cl for 2 apps.
With a little luck, cl cubase can do the same (I ca tell you next week, I wait for the ugrade cubase!) And therefore I would be a relief cl! (C'tait a joke eh! Lol)

- The configuration gnrale is easy?
ben in fact there is not much set! I touch anything, but it works
Moreover drle ca me and I seem to have forgotten something!
I'm not used to that it works without doing anything!

- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
dj is in French, a good point, then for now I really fly but since the app is pure enough record seems more than enough.

I have not really pushed to ca Premire but confirms what STEINBERG said, that it uses little resources that we use one or more sounds.
And of course Access in sound is almost instantaneous.

It is the need to be vigilant!
APRs have cost the sound of soft dmo I chose this for the following reasons:

I replace all my synths at all virtual hard by. I missed a soft succeptible to replace my old 50 ROLLAND D and my Yamaha CX1.
Although the hypersonic is certainly not comparable to the level of sound edition of these two synths, it contains a lot of synthetic sounds, layers and effects (more than one arpgiatteur) and interresting Now suddenly I can replace my synths.

Also I always shuffled slightly ralistes analog sounds with acoustic instruments more ralistes samplers to give a little color and warmth.
So it suits me as the hypersonic also done everything.

Now at the ism called acoustic sounds, it really means and I strongly deprecated.

However this product can be interresting for small configurations little muscles, for composers to sleep dsireux their projects quickly so as not to forget because it is full of sounds of all kinds and available in 2.3 click without taking the head with rglages (although in this case, there are many other suprieur level ism: kompakt, SampleTank 2, ...)

In addition there Pipelines Limited to receive up to four future extensions. What? ben I know but I think it will be possible to add optional sound banks and can be Specializes same functions supplmentaires! (Sampling??)

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
in the genre, no, I just hsit with SampleTank, but ultimately it was a little overlap with the apps I possde dj and I have not heard of the water and synth sounds ticks as the hypersonic.

- How do you report qualitprix?
I would really not of much help this level, because I spent most of my life to ruin the purchase of hardware synths and diverse and so I find it really cheap price of freeware virtual.

So the hypersonic 400 euros and I will probably use only half the bin for me it sounds all the same cheap, I delete two synths which cost me 15 000 francs and 6000 francs
and if I compare the ism of acoustic sounds using the hypersonic from my KORG M 1 I pay all of the same 15 000 Frs leaving the hypersonic the bin is 100 times!
So I find it cheap.

The sample set is so large that I have of course cost a small fraction of those who m'interressaient.

- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...

on the note, I put a 9 for m'interressent sounds but I think Steinberg could have done better for all of the acoustic sounds. So a 4 for overall.

Oh yes, one dtail: The graphics are frankly as in the photo is that ugly!

APRS Complment with me one month to use the software:

It has its place in a home studio and sound bank (about 1000) is diversified with good synthetic cloths, some say sounds quite acoustic sound, others are trsmdiocres, but its great strength is that it is possible to have up to 16 sounds in a superposs diffrent assignments with splits

Thus for example, you assign up to 16 sound channels 16 noon, SETTING THE splits, vlocits, effects, etc ... your convenience and you can play all the midi channel 1.

I mean the midi channel 1 for CONTRL up 16 games because if you want CONTRL parties from channel 5 for example, you can not CONTRL Parts 1 to 4, but May 16 Max! and so on.

And with that possibility without using ben 16 games (a bit much even when) 5 parts with 4 well chosen and well laid out, it sounds the guy!

So, in résumé:

- Large and well diversified bank;
- Some good patch trs and other trsmdiocre (as with all products);
- Best suited to the needs plutt synthetic sounds that the instruments ism;
- The mode is very well Designed arpgiateur;
- The edition gnrale which is generally very easy;
- The combination of patch;
- The effects quite diverse but average quality including reverbs;
- Uses few resources throughout with 2 outputs (I have not tried with 4!)
- It's far from being the soft decision-head to use it.

So I mounted my silent note 4, 6 because it is an integral part in my set today.

Pay € 390 or 2558 francs, (it's speaking in French because to find the equivalent with 2500 balls hard stuff, we can hang!) I regret my investment.

Ha if dtail: I can still make me the graphics!

- Installation: small problem with the USB dongle, because apparently it's already present dongle for Cubase SX. But after a few manipulations, it worked correctly. I then transferred the license key on the Hypersonic Cubase for failing to put the two keys simultaneously.
- No incompatibility problems noted on my installation.
- General Setup: I can not really say for now, not with this VSTi only recently. Overall it seems pretty convenient to use, but it is true after having read some peculiarities. Reading the user manual is in my view essential to understand why the apparent simplicity of the product is not so obvious.
- The manual is quite clear, except in regard to the installation process. It is because of the steps that I could not install the product at the beginning ...

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

- My conf: P4 2.4GHz, Asus P4B533 motherboard, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD system 1 + 2 160GB HDD dedicated audio / video Hoontech ADDA2000.
- No malfunction of the conf.
- Performance: I play what I need, so no problem there (I must say that I do not abuse effects).
- Stability: we'll see over time. But after several hours of manipulation, no crash.

OVERALL OPINION

- Other tests: Plugsound (I also bought the 3 volume of Plugsound percussion), MachFive, Sampletank.
- Value / Price: I read here that the product was available to less than 400 euros, I think I'm having a little (I bought 450.00). But hey, it's no use crying.
- I'm happy with this product and think it is to quickly find a set of sounds for the first model. The multitimbral is a real advantage. The sound quality is (as for many other products) varies selected sounds, but overall it is very correct. The search for high quality sound, look in the more specialized products.
- I would do so if the choice had to be rebuilt, and could recommend this product to those who search a library of many sounds, accurate and quickly accessible.

- Installation: small problem with the USB dongle, because it seems the dongle for Cubase SX Submitted dj. But After a few manipulations, it worked correctly. I then TRANSFR the license of the Hypersonic cl Cubase for not putting two cls same time.

- Performance: I play what I need, so no problem of this ct. But I must admit I am impressed with the limited resources demands even for a complex!
- Stabilit: no crashes since its installation.
- I t Ennu to beginners by what seemed to me a bug: a patch to reconfigure all the time "Black Hole", when reloading of any project. The disabling of automatic MIDI (the options of hypersonic) arsolu this little pb.

OVERALL OPINION

- Volume gnral is lower than average. As this is a multitimbral instrument, it is not necessarily an evil, but the addition of other VSTi more "beefy" SETTING THE demand levels rather "remote".
- Adding sound supplmentaires compatibility with GM is made possible by an update free on the site of Wizoo. I will say what I think when I have installed.
- I would do so if the choice silent again, and this product could advise those who seek a library of many sounds, accurate and quickly accessible.

Hypersonic works without problem, it pumps a lot of resources, with many enjoyable sounds ... Super stable

OVERALL OPINION

I've had eight months, I had the time to use it before giving my opinion.
All sounds are all tops, but in each menu, one can find much c'k'on wants, and for some instruments it is necessary to rework his ke sounds better, compression, delay and reverb. I too AIM to effects be inserted instruments, reverb too Submitted ...

I use it for about a year and what I like most is the eclecticism of his bank, for me that makes it practical to mix hiphop styles.
Yes I have tried many things before but a lot of free plugs then say that the difference in price.
The price may be a bit high but compared to the competition I think not moaning ......
This choice I would do without hesitation and even try to buy the second version.

OVERALL OPINION

It must be 3 years that I have, at the beginning that he and I had my old yamaha mu 90 branch in midi and yes I use it less and less.

The VST installed with no problems and was easy to initially configure. In my opinion this is the entry level VST of choice. Most people entering production want a plethora of sounds available to them in an instant and this VST has pretty much nearly every type of sound available. That does not mean that the quality is the best available though. The library is easily accessible through the browser and is arranged in categories for ease of use. Ths library is versatile and has a wide range of sounds available, with around 1500 presets. There is a wide range of effects available to add to each sound too, as well as quick mapping of effects to the modulation wheel.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

This VST has worked pretty much all the time with Ableton and FL Studio, although it can be prone to causing crashes when certain sounds do not load correctly. I have been using this VST with FL Studio for roughly 2 years and it has been a mainstay in my music for all that time. The loading times of the sintruments is near instant, and is unbeatable by any VST i've ever used.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, I find that Hypersonic 1 is a very good entry level VST plugin for anybody looking for a quick entry into production. It's accessibility is perfect for the amateur and still has sounds worthy of most productions of a veteran. The only thing I'd have against it is some of the sounds being remarkably tacky and thin, sounding almost midi. The drums are also a huge let down as they do not sound anywhere near realistic enough to be used in a real song. I would reccomend this VST to anybody looking for quick access to sounds and I would buy it still if I knew what I knew now.

This is a Softsynth, and has all the feature a softsynth can have. Only wish they gave more control over each individual patch....but the controls they give you are good enough to get the job done. They hypernobs provide settings on the fly, which prevent you from having to switch screens often. You can even created your own "COMBIS", or kits for on the fly kits when you need. I have created several stock DRUMKITS this way. Plus, it doesn't eat up resources maliciously as VST's are known to do.

This is by far the best interface I have used in a softsynth, or a workstation keyboard. It is so easy to use it is ridiculous. The learning curve is quick, settings load on the fly, and the CPU usage is very small. The HYPERNOBS are the best part of this Softsynth, as they allow you to make quick EQ, Change of Instrument, effects, and ATTACK, RELEASE, AND Velocities. Allows for sixteen channels...all which can be linked to one another with one click of your mouse, without even going into a settings menu! What other Softsynth can say that?

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The sound quality is top notch...the patches were programmed well, with different characteristics of instruments detailed....things like Piano velocity, the hardness of piano keys, the range of piano sound...etc. Love the Drums...some of the cleareast on a VST I've ever used. You barely even have to EQ!

Well, I can't rate it's durability. Quality wise, it's the best all around softsynth in my opinion. Quick load time, low cpu usage, on the fly edits, and easy links to combo instruments make this one powerful tool for any DAW. I highly recommend anyone to take a look at it.

OVERALL OPINION

If you can't tell already, I love this VST. Works with any program that supports VST's...at least the ones I've used. Combo this with Nuendo and a powerful computer, and you've got urself one bad DAW. I can now spend more time creating, and less time navigating.

For the most part the features are very similar to those you would find in a keyboard workstation. Sounds can be tweaked to your liking, as can the onboard effects, which are great. It's 16 part multi-timbral just like my Trinity was.

Extremely easy to use. One look at the GUI and you already know where everything is. I love the ease of use, low cpu load and quick loading of sounds.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I love the sounds in Hypersonic. I bought it to replace my Korg Trinity workstation. The sounds are what you would expect from such a workstation, but in a VSTi. Even the drums in this are nice and immediately useable, which is a welcome change from the usual workstation drum presets.

It's a soft synth so durability doesn't really apply, except in the case of the USB dongle which, if not careful, can break easily.

OVERALL OPINION

I definitely love Hypersonic, and use it as my main workstation VSTi. I use it in all my compositions now.

Got damn there's some much shyt you can do wit the sounds, I still don't know all of it. You can stack instruments on top of each other, add built in effects, change various parameters of the sounds, and so much more. I still want to figure out all of it.

It's easy. Just load up Hypersonic, search for a sound you want to use, double click it, and you're ready to go.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

This has some of the best acoustic instruments in a VSTi, BUT, I was disappointed in some of the piano patches. That and mad solo brass patches and other acoustic instruments weren't realistic enough for me. Sound quality ranges from lush, realistic and very usable, to cheap free Soundfont quality. But to me, one of the best things about Hypersonic are the synth sounds that come with it. IMO, they better than some dedicated VSTi synths. Also I wish there was more of a selection of sounds. Overall tho, I was very impressed.

Never had any problems with it.

OVERALL OPINION

I love this thing, I just wish Steinberg had focused more on the sounds.

Its software so never got repaired never crashed...
