Line 6 XD-V55

Wireless system from Line 6 belonging to the Vocal Wireless series.

Line 6, Inc. ships the new XD-V55 digital wireless handheld, lavalier, and headset microphone systems.

jpegFeaturing microphone modeling technology, XD-V55 systems are designed to deliver the sound of popular wired mics combined with a 4th-generation digital wireless platform. The series features 24-bit, 10Hz–20kHz, compander-free performance and license-free operation worldwide.

Designed for vocalists and active performers, the new XD-V55 line includes handheld, lavalier, and headset digital wireless systems. The family offers 24-bit sound in adesktop or rack mountable format.

XD-V55 systems feature 10Hz - 20kHz frequency response and wide dynamic range (up to >117 dB). Unlike analog wireless technology, Line 6 digital wireless technology does not use companders or compress the audio signal, and Line6 says audio quality does not degrade with distance. XD-V55 systems operate in the 2.4GHz band, which is free from interference due to TV broadcast, public safety announcements, cell phone towers and other transmitting devices. Encoded DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology is designed to prevent reception of audio interference from other 2.4 GHz devices.

XD-V55 handheld systems feature a selection of 4 models of popular vocal microphones. XD-V55 bodypack based systems offer selectable EQ filter models, designed for various vocal and instrumental applications.

To operate, choose a channel on the transmitter and receiver and they lock together automatically. No need for RF tuning or intermodulation calculators.

XD-V55 family features: 12 channels, 300-foot range; 1/2U desktop receiver with externally mounted antennas; metal chassis.

Pricing:

  • XD-V55 Handheld Microphone System – $629.99 MSRP
  • XD-V55L Lavalier Microphone System – $629.99 MSRP
  • XD-V55HS Headset Microphone System – $629.99 MSRP
