Users of the Korg Kronos X workstations can update the OS of their keyboard for free in order to use the new CX-3 organ engine.
To complete the CX-3 organ modeling engine, Kork launches the free KRS-06 library that features organ sounds created by international artists such as Keith Emerson, Neil Evans or Larry Goldings. And as a bonus, the library also includes new sounds designed by the Korg team.
The KRS-06 is available for download from www.korg.com/kronossoundlibraries.
The v2.1 update for the Kronos OS also adds new behavior to the Mute buttons in the Combis and Songs and you can now use external MIDI controllers and map special features that was previously only available through the footswitch input and SW1/2.
