Made in Indonesia, I was surprised to be able to use this guitar at an acquisition without having to do any trimming. The frets needed only to be lapped. It only takes a few hours of use so that they soften. The electronic equipment has only a volume knob and hidden in the rose tone.
The Grover tuners are perfect.

UTILIZATION

Very good ergonomics. I like the handle which does not strain the wrist.

SOUNDS

Ideal for blues, it sounds great for other styles of music. The massive table provides a surprising sustain for a guitar of this price. The sound volume for a finger-picking is perfect. Electro side, I am disappointed by the tone trimming a little too simple. I use, so zoom A3 preamp for corrections and it is beautiful.

OVERALL OPINION

Since I use this little gem, I basically set aside the CORT dreadnought that was my favorite before. The small size of the body of the Epiphone is more comfortable for me because I played sitting on a stool.
I'm really in love with this beautiful guitar that gives everything musically and aesthetically.

Guitar made in indonesia, size 00 (parlor), version priori cheap gibson her sister. This is a guitar that uses the forms and spirit of the blues box 30s. Paid 249 euros, and equipped with a micro fishman, I was expecting the worst at this price, and yet:

UTILIZATION

First, the guitar is superb, the finish is very good (even apart from the price). Gloss but not excessive thickness (very good), we see slightly fibers appear in the table. Surprising comfort in sitting game. Very comfortable handle with incredible but not too late and an ergonomic shape, not tiring at all. Average weight for size.
First thing, the Nut is plastic atrocious and the spacing of the strings is very small (point often criticized on this guitar), surprising as it is a place of both sides of the handle: I have everything immediately put a bone nut with a spacing "standard".
I also put a bone bridge saddle, fell slightly compared to the original (you can leave the original imitation bone, it is better than the Nut, just down if necessary).
-The frets are not polished and hang a little, I polished the frets, nickel it out very quickly and it solves the problem.

As amended, with elixir strings, the guitar is simply incredible in gameplay (for the price).

SOUNDS

I wanted a guitar of this style, not having the means for its version gibson or martin for (except the 00-15m would have been my choice, others are overpriced).
I note also that this format is ridiculously expensive for large brands. My goal is to work with, including the gypsy jazz style as Tommy Emmanuel doing so well with his or her little gibson martin 00-17. (The comparison stops there ...)
In fact it is happening everywhere, game or finger pick 3mm all fits.
Very nice sound, very balanced bass / midrange with no loss in the spectrum on any string (rare).
Connected it sounds good, it will take a little playing EQ on the amp because it is fairly "loudness" (bass and treble). It will also consider the rosette block, it goes quickly feedback. Even electro she defends herself well, although I have not taken to it.

OVERALL OPINION

At the moment it is still new, but the massive table will probably open a bit (this is already very well now).
This is simply the best value for money I had in my hands, provided they make small changes mentioned above. We can do without it, but there it transcends the guitar.
I have a lot of guitars brand and all costs, but I do not expect to much fun with this little epiphone ...

The Epiphone EL-00 pro is a entry level acoustic with an exciting level of playability and sound quality. The guitar features a spruce top and mahogany back and sides as well as a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. The onboard electronics consist of the matching Fishman Sonitone pickup and preamp. The size eres on the smaller end of the spectrum. The guitar comes with a vintage sunburst on not only the the guitar's top, but also it's back and in the middle of the neck, bringing an element of continuity to the guitar. The attention to details like this on an aesthetic front, could easily give the impression that this is a mid priced guitar.

UTILIZATION

The EL-00 is a smaller body guitar. It is a parlor shape and while not being so small that it could be mistaken for a "travel" guitar, the EL-00 is exceptionally light and easy to lug around. I would say that the dimensions and feel are comparable to Taylor's GS mini guitar. The D-taper slim profile neck is brilliant, very easy to maneuver. The guitar projects very well for it's size. Tuning stability was excellent thanks to the grover tuners.

SOUNDS

I played the EL-00 both unplugged and with a roland AC-33 amp. I also alternated between using a plectrum and playing mostly finger style.

The EL-00 sounds gorgeous. It is exceptionally warm for it's size and emphasizes a lot of good low-mids. I felt that this guitar was a bit brighter than the other epiphone's I played, but not nearly as bright as the likes of a Taylor. The guitar sounded good with a plectrum, and complex chords rang out with a nice amount of sweetness. However, I feel that the EL-00 excels at finger style performance. The Sonitone preamp does not give you control over level or Eq balancing on the guitar itself, though the signal provided was very useable.


OVERALL OPINION

I'd say that the Epiphone EL-00 is the best gig-able, budget, electric-acoustic I've played so far. The ease of play and the sweetness in the sound quality both uplugged and amplified, coupled with the aesthetic presentation makes it a no-brainer.
