Big bodied guitar with a bit too crisp and quiet tone.
Published on 10/02/24 at 03:51I bought this guitar in 2004 so it's been in my rig for two decades.
I've played guitar since early 70s more or less professional, I've had quite many acoustic guitars
but this Ibanez is a bit surprising acquaintance among my past and present guitar friends.
It is wonderful to play, neck is straight and fully adjustable, intonation is fine, it keeps tuning well and it is great looking with all its neck inlays and gold colour tuners.
Preamp is a bit noisy but does its job well. Battery box made some rattling noise but that was cured with piece of tape.

But IMO the acoustic sound has some problems
I wouldn't recommend any other strings than "silk and steel"- type round sounding strings, otherwise the sound is
quite crispy and thin and boosted in high mid - high area.
Sustain is a bit shorter than in my other Ibanez from 80s.
The lower frequencies are too subtle for my taste anyways and in studio it's a bit hard to record a full/warm sounding track with this guitar, it's like there is a hidden EQ cutting the lows no matter which mic is used.
But that being said, I've no intentions to mock up this guitar, I've played many wonderful gigs with it and it is
really fun to play, almost like an low action electric guitar.

USE
The handle is very pleasant.
The easy access to acute (sudden pan)
Ergonomics for me but watch a crate jumbo little tired right arm.
Obtained very easily a good sound, I abaiss the bridge compared to the original rglage is the top.
SONORITS
It is very versatile
NOTICE GLOBAL
I try many models before acqurir. I would do is choosing without eSite !!!See less00 - Tom StonePublished on 07/07/05 at 07:05 (This content has been automatically translated from French)TRS is a good guitar electro-acoustic made in china, but be warned China not to say bad finishes because they are copies.

I would therefore conclude that it is a good trs guitar for its price with good finishes. I use it for a year and I'm glad trs. I think I would do this either with a budjet equivalent.

APRS much research, my choice is stopped on this guitar.
I possde a classic and one electric. The classic has allowed me to beginners. I had envis progress. But to do so I was looking for a guitar with a sound gnreux, without being necessarily connected.
So I'm buying this guitar I like the sound, for Aesthetics, or the finish. In addition the report quality price trrible. I never leave this guitar and my progress is constant.

I focus only on the pressure. and I can not use my ring finger to change the notes to treble.
j yet only have a draft of 0.08.
SOUNDS
This guitar has great harmonics c is why I bought the. Nevertheless, the preamp does not value what its crystalline.
Through the preamp the bass is distorted sometimes. and c is a trick to retrieve each record al. C is annoying on some tracks, because all of a sudden, the bass come out and take everything.
OVERALL OPINION
Very surprised compared to other opinions. Finish of this guitar is limited. A tap on the box is you have a brand. Plastic is also very fragile. For example, look what you have in Takamine or Washburn for the same price you'll be amazed. As explained j moves the table when changing the strings. So if you put a hard pull, bye bye. So you have a good chance to take her to the luthier in the two weeks after the purchase to adjust the height of strings to adjust the sleeve. I think c is a bad investment because the guitar watching bad. So if you add 120 euros you can have a guitar that will not move in time (style Takamine, Cort)See less01 - bendegPublished on 05/19/10 at 06:27 (This content has been automatically translated from French)Chinese manufacturing.
Rosewood handle

Mine does not exactly match the one we see on the site Ibanez (I can not find the MODEL with the same electronics, for example, there is no XLR)
UTILIZATION
The neck is normal, no surprise that level.
I never play in the very needle: when I play the guitar, I play the rhythm, no solo.
I put a .09 for shooting easier: very bad idea, the sound loses normment wealth. Put a drawing 0.10 minimum (as in shop)!
Action a little too high I got, to count down by one person (bridge saddle and curvature of the handle)

Surprising for an electro-acoustic guitar, has nice ring to it, nothing more. I've seen better but I've also seen much worse!
As for all the electro-acoustic feedback is to train an amp.
Tests with a Trace Elliot GP12 Series 6 1210 (200W bass amp): not bad!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it since I bought: 2005.
Good qualitprix. I am not at all.

The guitar is huge so it might be somewhat uncomfortable for short people (but not for me, I'm very tall).
Standard weight for an acoustic.
Great sound! Really good.
The state-of-the-art Ibanez production center offers excellent-quality instruments for an almost unbeatable price.
Good sound!
SOUNDS
I play it mainly unplugged for accompaniment and it sounds great.
I purchased an acoustic Ibanez Troubadour 35 combo amp.
Right now I don't use it that often because I play in a small room at home.
Excellent high-end and good sustain, I'm very satisfied... I also tried a low-price, nice-sounding Olympia but I don't really need anything else...
It stays in tune.
OVERALL OPINION
Best of all are its looks! Really nice... The jumbo size is sometimes bothersome when I sit on a small stool (I know, you'll say "sit somewhere else" and you are probably right!). I tried an AEL 20 too (very good), an Olympia OD 10 SCE (excellent) and several Fender models (not my taste).
Quite unbeatable value for money for a superb guitar with an awesome sound.
I would buy it again for the same price.
Ibanez hollowbodies are also interesting because they have a good manufacturing quality as well (Art core Series).See less00
