A very good amp electroacoustic, which is very easy to move, but in fact all the same 150 W, with two among jack / XLR, another jack (Hi / Low), a between RCA, RCA output (for recording), a stro loop to insert effects and XLR output (which allows the amp to DI office while having a return on sc no, very precious advantage). This amp is really ideal for acoustic multi-instrumentalists. I use it on stage in rpt, recording and never went of.

USE

The use is more qu'enfantine, and rendering tools could not be more pure and faithful. BUT the small size of the amp and layout of HP (1 woofer and tweeter 1), even if they give a very good rendering of the acoustic sound, make the amp possde a low level of exit. Yes, this amp is 150W, but sometimes it's hard to hear them. Also, the machine will act very well back on stage (since it has a line out XLR output), but we must push for the sound.

SONORITS

This amp is perfect for use as I do: I'm electric and acoustic guitarist, banjo player and lutenist and rglages allow me REALLY get very hot and faithful sonorits rendering sound of each instrument. I recommend this amp any acoustic instrumentalist or even guitarists looking for a very crystal clear sound, which is my case.

Only small BMOL: to play outdoors, small size prevents you from having a sound all rparti, plug it into a sound system and keep it in return.

USE

The config is simple and the same manual is not helpful.

SONORITS

Test with a Takamine ltd 2001 and a Yairi electro.
The sound obtained with basic rglages is very good.
Silent, color, one is surprised by her balance and finesse. The bass is tight and dynamics, prsents mediums without pits or bumps, treble purposes and not aggressive. This really is the sound of the guitar retrouv and respect.
The possibilities are rduites but the key is to amplify the instrument without dterioration.
Less powerful, it will soon be drowned in a group that plays hard.

NOTICE GLOBAL

Many know the problem pos by amplification of a electro guitar. I for my part in 2 years tried many amps (Aer, Rolland, SWR California, Fender, etc ..) and finally chose a sound system with table and powered speakers.
The best way to get to the sound I was looking for.
So if it JAM 150 seems a satisfactory solution, it remains expensive.
It may be necessary to consider going to the PA system or with a 2nd chamber SR to have a stereo effect and more presence, but for the total price of 1400 euros we start finding and sound systems systems most comprehensive and powerful, with a real spare console, and finished less sensitive to shock and dplacements.

SR Technology JAM 150 Plus the more wood is a transistor amplifier dedicated to acoustic guitar, with more like:

UTILIZATION

use and the settings are the same as a small mixer input level, equalization, trimming effect level for each. the controls are effective and their action is real. the amp has multiple effects, delay or reverb, switchable pulse with a single button push, it is regrettable's ignition, the receiver is always positioned on the first effect (delay), so if you use eg reverb three and a micro power outage occurs in concert, you end up with the delay instead of reverb that you selected (rather annoying).

SOUNDS

I've tested this amp with two types of guitar:
- A multiac godin nylon (it's a treat) the piezo guitar is softened and the sound of the guitar is the depth and chaleur.c is the perfect couple! (I owned a AER compact 60 that sounded good at low volumes but which turned into a nightmare for higher volume)
- A Hagstrom HJ800 (half electric box), I was hoping to play jazz, and although it does not work, despite the many settings, the amp behaves like a sound, it lacks the medium of a combo electric guitar.

I also connects a microphone singing (BETA58), is faithfully transcribed voice is very nice, I perform smoothly guitar and vocals with a configuration could not be more simple!

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for three years now, and I do not regret my purchase for amplified nylon rope and voice is excellent!

The JAM is a 150 + amp for electro-acoustic guitar, transistor, which delivers a power of 150 W.

With regard to the sound, it is a total massacre!!
I plugged my Gibson Hummingbird above, the settings of the equalizer in the neutral position, and there Whaaaaaaa, what a slap!! First of all, this amp really respect the sound of the guitar is sublime. It sends the bass properly.
I plugged also feature singing and a SM58 drum BOSS DR-880, everything sounds great.

SOUNDS

It is ideal to use as I do, and my style of music, folk / rock.
I plugged in my Hummingbird, wonderful, and a Seagull on which I set up a microphone Rose Bill Lawrence, so passive, but now it sounds worse. For cons, I have a piezo mounted on the Seagull, and there's the fact a little more. In fact, whatever the guitar plugged into this amp, it reproduces perfectly the sound of the guitar. Normal that it sounds better with the Gibson with the Seagull, since acoustic, Gibson sounds at least 10 times better than the Seagull.

OVERALL OPINION

I did that yesterday, but I love it already. First, in varnished wood finish, I find it beautiful, very classy.
What I like most, the sound of course, and versatility. This is an all-in-a truly comprehensive and offers a lot of freedom and independence in settings.
I tried the Marshall AS-50, the Roland AC-60 and the Roland AC-90, they really frown next level of purity of sound.
I bought € 670 new, from Music to Challenge Nancy, on the advice of Francis, the seller, the price / quality ratio is excellent. Cheaper than the Roland AC-90, but well above the level of performance.
I wanted an amp all-in-one to make small scenes or play in the circle of family and friends, where I could plug in a guitar, microphone and a drum machine, but this amp exceeds my complaints. It really respect the quality of the sound of my Gibson, and I think that beyond the stage, this amp will have a place in my recordings. IF it again, oh yes I do it again the same choice!

I was looking for an acoustic amp to play in rehearsal in the evening with friends or in bars ... I think the power is largely in the appointment. Above you can plug the output of any sound Canon (with separate volume). It turns into a return of luxury! The Alesis reverbs are clean without being over (I'm not an expert). I like their deep quiet. The small delay is nice (too bad not being able to adjust the speed).

OVERALL OPINION

The great class! I bought it in-store in Nice, after trying it in the cabin, as well as an AER 60. The difference was simply amazing! The EAR is an acidic side. The sound of the Jam 150 is round, warm and respects that of the guitar. I play with a great mate Martin and I really found his sound (I just change the EQ). I had the opportunity to try the Marshall 100D. Not bad at all (big sound) but it distorts a little the natural sound of the guitar. The Fender Acoustasonic JR 80 W was also good, but these two amps are not suitable for frequent travel. Jam on the same time I plug in a Loop Station, two microphones and folk guitar and this nickel! It seems that we should not really count on 150 W announced as it is in fact a kind of enclosure monitoring. The advantage is the cleanliness of the remaining super stable regardless of the level. Ultimately the volume is still to go. I can not imagine the Model 400 W! Quality / price ratio at the top. When you think that the EAR is 60 more expensive 100 to 200 euros! Of course, the format is a bit bulkier, but frankly it's going very well. Marshall competes in the settings and sound, but takes much more space (and weight: 21 kg against 13 kg). I even feel like I'm going to find an easy way to take my Jam150 on my scooter.
The wood finish is super class! Almost unique in the market. I had already removed the black skin of my Marshall for this varnished wood, so I'm satisfied.
Crispy little detail: made in Italy. Finally a product that there is no marked "Made in China"!

OVERALL OPINION

I will add no more than a gimmick. input impedances of 600 Ohms XLR are we making a big loss of potato (33%) at microphones preamps ... So, if you want gum, you better have a small mixer to plug into the line inputs. NB: They have corrected the fault on the part JAM 100 which has inputs to 1k ohms (it is far from a 2 MOhm Fishman Loudboxer but loses less potato (13%). The JAM ring 100 so as hard with a microphone despite 3dB SPL difference (JAM 150 2x should sound louder).

Yet I highly recommend 150 +. It sounds much better than the JAM 100 which, in my opinion, a sound too metallic. Indeed, the lack of JAM 100 low and roundness not JAM 150 +. JAM 150 + is warm, respectful of your instrument and also works for low (as they are not active).

I had OCCAZ (nine to nearly three months), under warranty, 600. it's well worth.

UTILIZATION

A bit complicated considering the number of settings, I prefer the minimalist approach.

SOUNDS

I was looking for "jazz tone" typical and I must say that despite the number of settings available to me, I never even touched upon the desired sound, so this amp n is not as versatile and as it seems.
I found it generally quite flat and strangely affected by a kind of veil over the attacks, as an artifact of compression or noise gate, overlapping the sound of the guitar.

UTILIZATION

The sound that comes out without setting is really good
there are built-in effects (Alesis) 1 and 3 reevrb Dealy.
An XLR direct output and an output register and a phantom power.
I tested the REC OUT line input of my PC with Mixcraft v (recording software) the sound is simply stunning.

The sound is fine but with a presence in the bass that makes hot

Tried and ordered this morning at Guitarshop in Marseille, after trying an AER compact that I found too minimalist and too cold .
A small footprint and a nice warm clean sound good design.
A true small mixing desk with integrated effects and phantom power.
Would recommend.
