What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The size of HP (not too small), no vent in the back, the dimensions of the caissons, Fostex's reputation.
I use them in home studio for all operations of the recording to mixing and mastering.
What configuration?
PC, P4, Logic 5.5, Echo Mia Midi.

SOUNDS

The frequency curve is sufficiently neutral? Yes, after running for 24 hours
The stereo image is good? Very good
The sound is clear and precise on the spectrum? It's a real treat after running
The dynamics are respected? ... I rediscovered my old mix made with HP Mutimedia and I do not understand why my mixes sounded as at home, in fact I mix my HP multimedia. Of course

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it? several weeks
- What is so special that you love the most, least? Plus, the value for money sonnorité, no complicated settings. In fact the only adjustment is the level of gain. Minimum, the vagueness of the gain knob, it is very small and lack the scale of reference. Other surprise, the gain is zero when you unpack the speakers the first time, on reflection it is quite logical, but it's a strange feeling "no sound".

- Have you tried many other models before buying it? I know that models of studio pros, Dynaudio, Genelec, ElectroVoice ...

- How would you rate the quality / price? Excellent

- With experience, you do again this choice? ... yes without hesitation
