« Quality / price ratio very interesting »
Published on 10/25/11 at 17:40I used Yamaha HS50M. Wanting to move to the speaker 8 "and a limited budget, I turn to prodipe.
I use them only in home studio, connected to my Yamaha 01X via a Presonus HP4.
SOUNDS
I will answer simply questions:
- Frequency response neutral? yeah ... suitable. I still made a small correction to équalo with a slight boost in the bass to 55Hz to because it lacked roundness.
- The dynamic? Good provided you do not have too much fear on the volume. Reactivity is generally appreciated.
- The stereo image? No problem. a good investment, the stereo is very good.
Its all-clear? Not really the treble level. I think the mix of cymbals or hi-hat type stuff is pretty déilcat. medium and low spin very easily. But when we know and that we are used, more specific concerns.
OVERALL OPINION
- How long? 2 years. No problems with since, though I do use more intense. it made me look very reliable and well finished.
- Other models? Yes. I tried and worked with Yamaha HS50 and HS80, the Alesis M1 MK2 and KRK VXT 6.
- What I like most, least? I like their look, their power greatly appreciated, Price, rendering very correct and workable. By I blame them against the lack of roundness, a sub would probably be welcome.
- If I would do this choice? If I had the same budget at the time, yes, no problem. Today, I am thinking of changing them seriously because I need more "efficient" accurate.
Quality / price ratio that I find unbeatable limit !!!!!
