Waves is at NAMM 2015 to introduce three upcoming plug-ins: Butch Vig’s vocal processor, the original dbx 160 recreation and the hybrid H-Reverb.

Waves worked in collaboration with producer Butch Vig to design a vocal processor with a very original graphic interface. The Butch Vig Vocals includes EQ, compressor, a saturation section with tube and solid state options and a De-Esser.

The developper also partnered with dbx to recreate the very first 160 compressor/limiter, to which they added a stereo section with Mid/Side matrix, as well as noise and mixing options.

Last, the H Series will soon be completed with the H-Reverb, an hybrid plug-in that employs analog modeling with drive control and a brand new FIR engine (Finite Impulse Response) that allows for deep customization of the decay enveloppe and create gated, reverse tails and more. H-Reverb offers resonant filter sweeps, compression, ducking, de-essing controls… as well as artists presets. Another good news, you can process multiple channels up to 5.1 surround.
