Help!! Buzzy noise from my laptop-FW410-KRKV4's?

it appears to be coming from my firewire port on my laptop. I'm using a Firewire410 and powered balanced KRK V4 monitors. The headphone output is fine so I'm baffled.

Where does the buzz come from? Is it present in the signal you are recording? Or just on the output? Just note that intergrate sound card on laptop are always really bad!!!

It sounds like something is not grounded properly. Or, your firewire cable is picking up electromagnetic interference. Is the cable running along other power cables? Or draped over a poweramp?
