    I mustn't forget to mention that this unit also offers a spring reverb, and the two effects can be combined with a simple potentiometer! This model has much more character and grit compared to the classic Roland Space Echo. Made in Germany in the 70s, this tape echo is certainly dirty and noisy, but it's a small price to pay for a powerful preamp.

    The device features two channels, two speeds, and a reliable slider, with an impressive self-oscillation capability. And that's not all! The tape I use is half a meter of Scotch 203 Dynarange. It doesn't degrade, barely deforms, and far outperforms the highly recommended BASF LGR50. It might be a matter of bias, but in the end, it doesn't matte…
