The manual is clear! & Enough! for me!
You need a usb key !, Steinberg for the license for !, last days !, which thus 1-2 times! by month!
Not forget to buy the mp3 encoder! , On the site! Steinberg for download!

PC assembly house.
Sound Card: Roland Sd-50.
The software works! very well in this configuration.
The software is very stable!

OVERALL OPINION

I use since: January 2013: 1 years & 8 months.
I tried another as Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 2013.
I like to do everything with ... ect.
Quality: Semi-professional.
Price: cheap at all: 95 Euro + The encode mp3: 15 Euro + The USB license keys: 20 Euro.
I do again my choice: Yes.

WaveLab Elements 7 is perfect software for home recording. It is made by Steinberg and has been out for years now. It supports many audio types and has 3d spectrum analysis. There are all of the tools that you need to edit Wavs and other audio files and even manipulate them by doing time stretch and pitch correction.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

This program will work on a Mac or a PC and has not crashed on any of my systems. I did not use it much but I do remember it working very well and supporting sample rates up to 96 kHz. You can run many effects plug ins at the same time and add many effects to the master track without any issues with CPU.

OVERALL OPINION

The file browser is very similar to the file browser in pretty much any DAW program that is out. This program comes with a lot of features that I didn’t expect to get for this price like the DeClicker, DeBuzzer, and DeNoiser restoration plug ins from Sonnox.
The interface is very simple and easy to work with, it is user friendly and different from many other programs that I have used but still easy to understand first try. You can download the manual for this program if you need it but it is pretty much self explanatory. Steinberg does not go into depth with some of the features though which could be a problem for people who want to learn the whole program from top to bottom so checking online for tutorials will help a lot (that is what I did). I prefer using WaveLab Elements on my Mac over my PC because I feel like it performs better there than on my PC because my Mac has more RAM.
Elements can be used to edit audio and even restore some old vinyl which is one of the main reasons that I purchased it once I heard it came with the Sonnox bundle.

Almost impossible to reactivate if you change the computer.

OVERALL OPINION

In 2010 I bought Steinberg Wavelab Essential 6 on online shop.
End of 2012 I need to replace my pc. I reinstall the product on my new computer: activation refused. Software e-Licenser control licenses not refuse to assign a new activation key. Mail Steinberg to expose my problem: no response
a month later despite several reminders.
As I am on the list of clients I get Steinberg February 14, 2013 a promotional offer, valid for one day, to purchase the downloadable version of Wavelab Element 7-50 € or 50% discount.
To replace my Wavelab 6, passed in profit and loss, I order and immediately get an activation key for the trial version ... but no link to download the product. I looked everywhere on the site Steinberg and discovers that for the trial must first buy, I say buy the right to download!
Furious I immediately sent an email to cancel my order and demand immediate repayment.
A week later I still have that message automatically and saying "you will reply to your request within 24-48 hours."
The email address of "customer service" is false (returned undelivered email to sender), the German phone number service support is a wrong number, the number of French support for Steinberg Cubase is an autoresponder.
Here Steinberg.

Mac, installation is simple.
PC, I do not know, but everything looks good thoughts I suppose so. I

has a `mac pro 4 core Nehalem 2.66 GHz with 8 gigs of ram, so more than enough.
This software looks stable.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it only for today, I will add info as and as I discover.
This is cheap (my store very convenient rates comptitive)
But beware!
To convert to MP3, it has only 20 possible conversions, APRS must buy a plug in for Steinberg! Add +15 if you want to convert your songs to MP3!
APRS, it is logical that fewer than 100, it has not offered anything UNESCORecords version 600 and can therefore apparently do evolve.
