The M-300 Remote app allows users of the M-300 V-Mixer to remotely control the mixing parameters from their iPad. They will be able to adjust the channels and busses gains, EQs, pans, faders, solos and mutes, the 32-band graphic EQ, and the scenes (recall/store/clear). The app also supports copy/paste and undo functions for the equalizers.
They will also view (but not change) the phantom power, pad, gain reduction on gate and compressor status, the names, colors and meters of the channels and busses, as well as the scene status (lock, filter and fade).
The M-300 Remote for iPad is available for free at the AppStore.
In order to use the app, the M-300 V-Mixer firmware has to be updated to version 1.5, which brings Roland Wireless LAN USB adapter support in order to wirelessly connect the M-300 Remote app. The update also adds a new 31-band mono graphic EQ, new effects, a crossfader function for scene changes and an advanced Recall Filter feature that allows for choosing the parameters to be recalled.
