SOUNDS

Realistic for some (piano), less for others (eg chorus sounds).

OVERALL OPINION

Initially, I bought it for my sweet who regretted his acoustic piano stayed at Belle Maman.
So, she had to be convinced that she would not lose them to change and this was the case with this model, both in terms of hit that sounds.
We finally she especially has tried a lot before (in amount and price range ... obviously). When she practiced, she adopted.
I'm sure there are better models in digital pianos, and I do not even speak of an acoustic but for the price, it is more honest.
Well, it is not cheap either but you know what you want.

The keyboard is excellent
very very low noise
it's a real pleasure to "strum" on it

SOUNDS

The two main sounds of piano (a piano and its variation) are amazing
it almost felt like a real piano in front of you (but not 100% it either ...)
at least for train is more than enough!

other sounds are good for troubleshooting but when we performed a high-end sampler before, it is certain that the CLP does not measure up (I think of the strings, choirs, guitars, ...)

Note the 240 seems to be the best compromise his / price because it has the piano sample on three layers instead of one for 230
While the 270 has 4 but in listening I have not really felt the difference

OVERALL OPINION

I took a digital piano to be able to do at any hour of the day ... of the night
I would say that given the sound quality of the device acoustic pianos to study the need to worry! (In addition there are the extras like the sequencer or the ability to change the tuning and temperament)

Course to 88 keys, digital piano seems suitable for users not wanting to appropriate the sounds of the piano first. Indeed even if the presence of the organ and the harpsichord is welcome these instruments will, however, that the only sounds really attractive on the 14 available voices (piano included).
The effects are nice but nothing extraodinaire, they can be combined to a number of made wider.
The transposition is very useful and perfect can move the notes up to 12 semitone on either side were not complaining.
Those who enjoy playing with a metronome, however, could not have comfort with the one supplied with software for Claver. It is not poor but say that in my experience it is best to have the sound of the metronome from a place other than pregnant, even if his advantage is the ability to adjust its speed to the nearest hundredth.

The connection is very satisfactory: we must find the headphone jack, 3 pedals found on the keyboard with its output, can connect speaker outputs and noon to register.

UTILIZATION

Nothing to say about the feel of the keyboard we find a feeling so close to an acoustic piano that would be too complicated to find the difference. The softkeys are perfect for pianists looking to play a long time without interfering environment. You can change the setting of touch according to your preferences, if desired sensation is rather heavy or light touch (between the two if it was average).

The configuration could not be easier: just press the power button and you will find directly on a default configuration with a Grand Piano. Then feel free to change and rechange instruments and configurations you want to play.
Alone may be exporting your records (also limited to three simultaneous on your piano) will be tedious due to its loading time but also use a little difficult at first.

SOUNDS

Agreeing with me on the piano sound, the record is particularly effective and much appreciated. I must confess myself to have done by putting my headphone, playing the piano and not realize that the music came out of the internal speakers ...

But I want to stress one important thing: the Clavinova CLP 240 is especially pleasant to hear when you put the headphone without a headphone because it becomes something else. Indeed, the difference between acoustic piano and digital piano and this particularly evident between the headphone output and keyboard.
It does not replace the atmosphere of a real acoustic piano.
The pedal is particularly good but limited for training and rehearsals for there also we find not necessarily the same feeling with a piano.
For sounds, so it's as explained above: it will be appreciated only sounds piano, organ and harpsichord.
The Clavinova is great for pianists seeking to train at home or in a place where we will not disturb anyone.

Personally I prefer the Grand Piano 2 because it has an atmosphere a little more room, for against the guitar is very poorly emulated.

OVERALL OPINION

The use of several hours a day for the past few months, the Clavinova CLP 240 was very pleased with the purchase and use. Ideal for people living in an apartment or place a little smaller than a house free sound level, but I would advise to replace your acoustic piano if you can afford to keep it.
Function headphone jack is definitely the most caractérisitiques this piano makes a sound obtained through touch heavy, especially the pedal and the sound very well emulated the piano for pleasure optimal.

It would be a shame to buy a clavinova range below because we feel the difference between, for example, the CLP 230 or 220. Having obtained for 1790 euros I think he has no investment without return because it is really worth and if I had the opportunity to buy a digital piano in this range it would probably be it .
