Korg launches the Mini Kaoss Pad 2S

The Mini Kaoss Pad 2S sports the same design as the Mini Kaoss Pad 2, but this supercharged edition hosts 100 different effets and, icing on the cake, a Sampler (hence the 2S) that records via the built-in microphone or line input. You can also load WAV and MP3 files stored on microSD/HC cards and the samples can be played with various modes: One Shote, Gate or Loop. The built-in touchpad can change the playback speed and you can even choose the cue point of the sample.

DJs also benefit on this Mini Kaoss Pad 2S from new features, such as the addition of a delay effect when they remove their finger from the touchpad, which allows for smooth transitions, a Hold feature that freezes the effect parameters according to the current position of the finger on the pad, automatic BPM detection for effect sync and three memories are available for favorite effect recall. This memory also includes 6 audio loop presets.

Plus, the Mini Kaoss Pad 2S allows for recording your performance in WAV format via the Master Recorder, with direct playback on the machine thanks to the built-in speaker.

The Mini Kaoss Pad 2S is powered by 2 AA batteries or optional adapter.
