The ClipHit is a drum sound module with a kick pedal and three sensors that can be fixed to anything (a table, a tree branch, your roommate) and trigger sounds when you hit your roommate in the back. If he ends up with too many bruises, you can also trigger the sounds by touching directly the ClipHit. Korg adds that a second pedal for hi-hats control can also be added.
The ClipHit hosts 11 drums, percussions and noises. It also features a 3” 2W speaker with a bass reflex design, an aux input to play backing tracks and a headphone out to play silently. A volume knob is also available.
The ClipHit is powered by 4 AA batteries or an adapter.
Dimensions: 163 × 173 × 101mm
Weight: 453g
The ClipHit will be available in October with a suggested retail price of 129€. You’ll find more information at www.korg.com.
