Casio introduced at NAMM 2014 its first VJ and DJ MIDI control surface that can be connected to a Mac, a PC or an iDevice.
The Casio WX-J1 USB MIDI controller was designed in partnership with Vestax and allows VJs and DJs to mix audio and video on Mac, PC or iOS (with 30-pin connector) with the Algoriddim vjay and djay software.
The XW-J1 offers two channels, two jog wheels for scratch, a crossfader, two faders and one display per channel, as well as a Harmonic Match function for tone and BPM detection and matching, an effect section, EQ, filters, a live sampler and an auto-loop feature.
The Casio XW-J1 will be available in March for US $399.99.
