It's all solid, beautiful spruce table, mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and key board thread that goes on freight rates, it is the high class. Pearl inlays on the magifiques grover manche.mécaniques, nitrocellulose lacquer.

USE

I love this race is one of the elements that made me prefer this guitar to a martin. It is difficult to express, because ultimately very personal, it's stack top handle that suits me. I tried, when purchasing a Taylor 414 CE, a Martin D18, A Gibson J 45, and this race gave me the feeling of being at home.

The acoustic sound is perfect for me. I just regette that this guitar is equipped as LR BAGGS-system élément.C'est a good system piezo, but has wholes defects piezo (string noise, low rolling ...) NOTICE GLOBAL

In my opinion, Taylor does not sound good acoustically (but that's just my opinion), the D18 sounds good, but I do not like the handle, and it is not equipped with electro, D45 sounds good too, but I do not like the heat, and after having played the hummingbird, the D45 really chip. And anyway the store, after being moved from one to the other, the choice has become of himself. The sound, the look, the feel ... it's indescribable, I almost feel that it's the hummingbird who chose me. Of course, it's a bit expensive, but not that much finally given the quality of the instrument, and especially sound. And also, I think it is the instrument of a lifetime. Obviously, I would do the same choice.

This is clearly a guitar singer / guitarist.
It is fairly typical in the mids but not too much. I would say that it is balanced is either low, mid or treble. I owned a Martin D28 which were more present bass (sound what Martin!)
The acoustic sounds are really great. It has a good projection, but I expected more. I think in a few years it will be improved on that side.
It feels good to vibrate against the can ... There's good!
Connected, the LR BAGGS done his job, but so far I have not managed to extract every. Are not the piezo is cold.

I've owned a lot of mid-range acoustic guitars Gretsch Rancher including two which were fun, a Blueridge BR 73, which was great. The Martin D28 which the happiness of another was fantastic. Woody sound I miss typed Martin, but against that I think I'm not about to part with my Hummingbird.

This guitar is made in Boseman, MT (older models at Nashville, TN, USA at Gibson's highly esteemed factory). The body is mahogany, and the top is solid Adirondack spruce. The neck is set in (at the 14th fret) and made of mahogany, with a rosewood fretboard and 20 frets total. The guitar is bound on the top and back, as well as the fretboard. The Hummingbird features Gibson's high quality tuning machines, split parallelogram inlays, an ornate pickguard featuring a depiction of a hummingbird and flowers, and an ebony bridge.

UTILIZATION

This guitar plays so well, it's easy to lose track of time. I work as a guitar teacher in a music store, and many times I decide to go in early and try out some guitars. One day I came in and played a few acoustics, but when I picked up the Hummingbird, I seriously lost track of time, and when I looked at my watch, 2 hours had passed! I'm lucky that I came in super early and didn't miss any lessons! This is easily the kind of guitar that could inspire years of new songs for the owner.

SOUNDS

Again, a perfect ten in this category. The guitar sounds like a cannon - it gets very loud when pushed, but can back off and get great subtle sounds. The notes are crisp and very distinct, and the low end is very rich. This guitar sounds great for strumming and flat picking, but also does well on fingerpicking and altered tunings.

OVERALL OPINION

I don't give these out much, but this instrument gets a perfect ten all around, as it is hard to imagine another guitar doing what this one does only better. There might be some that are about equal in performance, such as a good D-28, but I can't think of any dreadnought style guitars that exceed this one. It looks great, feels very nice, plays incredibly, and sounds as good as a guitar can sound. Highly recommended.

I went to the local guitar store in Virginia to test out the Martin DC-28, which has been my dream acoustic for as long as I can remember. When I got there, I pulled the Martin off the wall and played away, and fell in the love with the feel of the Martin. From where I was sitting, the tone was certainly better than my Ibanez acoustic. Then the Manager comes in, and asked if I had tested the Gibson Hummingbird Pro on the wall. I rebutted, no, I am here to test the Martin (and thinking, what is this guy doing since the Martin is right under 3k). The guy tells me to listen to him play both guitars while I stood back (to hear the real tone which you can’t hear well while you are the one playing). I could immediately tell that the Martin was WAY "twangy'er" than the Gibson, with much more high end. The Gibson sounded much fuller, like your favorite rock tunes. I then played it and while the playability was ever so slightly easier on the Martin, I am all about tone.

UTILIZATION


Looks and sounds great. Pick up seems good, nice tone. My complaint would be with the action, way too high at the nut and bridge. My tec said he could get it to play like my Taka mine, low, smooth and buzz free. This is a beautifully constructed instrument. The playability of this guitar is fantastic. It has a nice deep sound that Gibson is famous for. Great action on the neck. The electronics in this guitar are good as long as you have a good amp to play through.

SOUNDS

The highs, mids and lows resonate fantastically. The only real problems I have with it are the neck needs to be adjusted due to the fact that it isn't straight, it isn't off horribly but still, it isn't straight. And the other problem is the pickup; it's awful.

OVERALL OPINION

High Quality guitar, it cost a pretty penny though. But if you can afford it I say go for it! You wont be disappointed.

UTILIZATION

The handle is enjoyable trs, trs it is late, close to a handle of electric.
Access in dernires boxes is not easy (no cutaway), however the heel is refined thereby accder boxes that can not be achieved on d the other acoustic.
The guitar is a lgret impressive, the handling is top.
The sound is balanced and trs trs prcis. This guitar does not leave right error.
When the play, we feel it breathe, it vibrates in every way, and the guitar lgret srement is for nothing.
The sound that comes out is just beautiful, and again, mine is brand new, I can not imagine what it will become in 10 years!
This guitar DGIG power, but the sound is a gentle, it's a rgal accompaniment.

SOUNDS

This is a guitar that sounds folk background, I think it is limited to rock, blues, pop and folk, of course, but it excels in these styles.

In electro, I did test that in an amp electric lamps, j'diterai when I try it in my live sound in an amp or electro ...

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two days, and I must say that if I asked the question earlier of what a guitar diffrenciait average range of a high-end guitar, I was rponse instantanment I had ds at the Hummingbird in hand.
The finish is irrprochable, the guitar is beautiful, and the sound is envotant ... It's hard to play s'arrter when he was in his hands.
Dj new, this guitar is impressive by the quality of the sound comes out.
I tried a Takamine rcemment I possde 2 Seagull guitars are good, but the one playing in another court, one enters the field of high-end instruments in the exception.
Luxury at a price, but well worth the ...
If I had to redo this choice? Hsiter without a second, of course ...
