Value For Money : Excellent
I bec everyone knows, no, since 1987 ...
Good fast: from right to left:
DC in (9volt, psa type boss - in the center, 500 ma): Universal adapter recommended, there were buzz with this kind of transformer.
L / R (mono) Output. Jack (6.35)
Headphones
Eight separate outputs
Midi OUT
MIDI IN
and minijack: Tape sync in / out, Tape in / or (for backups), TRIG OUT (to drive arpegio of juno, the sequencer of JX3P, or SH101 may be something to do with a gross as roland ... it is a signal type)
Compartment 6 standard batteries (autonomy has given an indication, approximately 16 hours I think from memory)
No effect
30 sound 12 bit (it seems but it is pa smarqué in doc) roland kind U220 / MT32 and other 80's
48 + patterns 48 patterns users
6 songs
Optional memory card to add storage space (but not pcm plus, sorry, it will take the R8 ...)
STEP sequencer or WRITE can drive a sampler or another expander for more varied sounds.

Less in this section are the number 3:

- Sounds a little dated and seen again and again (fortunately separate outputs are there to grind), no sound cards as an option.
- Screen not bright instead of the usual 16 LED LCD: not good live recording.
- Pads not velocity sensitive.

UTILIZATION

Machine typed Roland, with its step sequencer, and separate outputs that can be assigned to a small console with a dedicated mute increments, and can return its elements 1 by 1!
The track mode to chain 16 different rhythm patterns, breaks etc..
Can synchronize a electribe an external sequencer, a groove box, a arpegio ...

SOUNDS

This is where the shoe pinches a bit. Realistically, it is not the legendary trio roland tr 909, 808 and 606. here we have pcm sounds "80 years" it was close to 505/707 and 727. Some sources claim that echo the 626 pcm 707 AND 727, but the owners of these two bar, that rate monstrously expensive hand argue that it is not. For my part, I am convinced ue refourgue roland has the same core samples in these machines all the time, we comm Eils refourguent variations of the same series of samples depui sla ... jv

We can still change the pitch of sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it only for one day. Not have to worry to synchronize the sequencer JX3P above nor groovebox SP606 or arpeggio of korg micro x / triton
What I like the most are the connectors: separate outputs and trig out. It is thus possible to link machines several times.

I think it should not acquire this model for its sounds. As said many times, samples are easy to find. I loaded samples of TR 909 and 808 in my SP606 and it sending wood. But sp has 4 tracks, and no separate outputs, I was a little cramped. separate this little TR outputs will be very convenient to live.

Should not either pay too much, no more than 150 euros in my opinion. If you have larger needs sound diversity must him prefer the R8, yet inexpensive, well superior to 707/727.

In short this is a compendium of 626 707/727 and more compact. Certainly was not the row of LED, but is it reasonable to spend 700 to 800 euros for the two models qund a 626 or R8 does everything for a lot cheaper?

A good little machine with a tractor engine to do everything.
