I use it for 1 year I ever tried before some batteries, including Pearl Session, Forum, Export.
Gretsch Catalina etc ... but lack of resources, I fall back on the dt BlackHawk.

What I like: A big powerful drum, a tom 12 "which sounds and 16" friendly.

What I like least: a snare-hum, tom 13 "almost useless.

This is a drumkit range between Gretsch, so forcing the skins are not good quality ... (cf. Prcdent notice.)
Labor quality is when even, for my part, quite good, no worries takeoff or other, all the screws prsentes etc.

The report / quality price dcevant now because for about 100 euros more, you have a view Catalina Ash Maple (they have enough cuts), which are much more intressantes this Blackhawk.

With the experience I do not have that choice because it is a beginner drumkit.

I have this drumkit for a month now, and I must say that this is a great little drumkit. We need to stop seriously advise beginners to buy targets or forums ... advise them the BLACKHAWK! tt in case if I had the choice again, I would do without hesitation! not above the tt, as its quality for a low price! is the dream!

I use this drumkit for almost a month but I have been slow to buy it because I saw a lot of very negative opinion on the net. Now that I have I am very happy! that played on good batteries before (tama rockstar, pearl export) I find this really very small drumkit for the correct price!

Toms give really good and the bass drum with integrated muffler is very powerful.
The harware gibraltar is fairly stable and I do absolutely no complaining.
Even the snare is rather good qualities that is rare on models manufactured in Japan.
I paid 550 euros this drumkit with the seat and cymbals not I find it really very correct for a drumkit of good qualities too and I remake this purchase without hesitation.

- What is so special that you like most and least?
The best: the snare and bass drum have a cool sound.
The least: hardware fragile, broken seat after some months, pedal gc not very strong, which tends to move in all directions and the foot of charley who no longer works at the top.

- How would you rate the quality / price?
It is not too bad but knowing that the hardware is pretty terrible it must not add a little extra money to change it.

I use this drumkit depus 2 years now. I'm pretty satisfied for the price. However, any point below the level hoped. metal case has a sound quite rotten. even installing a skin remo this remains very sharp and shallow. it also resonates uncomfortably enough. toms also resound. So they must opt ​​for small kits that serve to avoid the excessive vibration of the toms. with this drumkit sounds very good. the bass drum is very powerful and the skin has a "round" of sound that keeps all the power of the bass drum. Solid hardware and discreet.

I recommend this drumkit for people who tend to become confirmed! ... they faudrat anyway u change after a while ...
