Excellent
It is a versatile microphone, instrument / voice, dynamic type so no need for phantom power. It is unidirectional cardioid configuration.
Construction is serious (steel body), resulting in a real capacity to face the worst conditions of use and falls.
I use it primarily on elec or acoustic guitars, percussion (snare, tom acute or medium. And also can be used on a wind instrument or voice, although the latter I prefer the SM58 is the same microphone that has a protective screen pops mitigating and protecting the membrane from the attack of saliva ....
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 years and I have three, the first microphone that I bought in my life and I've never had a regret. Undoubtedly the microphone I use most in my home studio and record the rehearsals. Very used to the sound stage as well. This microphone is a "must have" for any sound man worthy of the name.
The price / quality ratio is excellent and the choice I would do without hesitation.
If you want to get an idea to throw an ear on the first album by Limp Bizkit that the battery is soundproofed with some couples SM57 .... good to very powerful preamps .... but the collection is here!
