I use my shure only to record my instruments, percu, djembe, Derbuka, balafon, and my FLUTE
I use a presonus tube pre amp first.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for two years, with strong and I will find my preamp sounds pretty hot I'm a little disappointed at the Acute flute but hey it is often advisable for percussion so it's a little normal.
this is my first microphone, I'm really happy relationship quality price, it''s really convenabel, I can save a lot of sound diffrent restution with the sounds more or less correct if I consider that in the treble is not the top!
experience with this choice I would do so, even if my experience is rather in micro dsuette but hey, knowing that you should always see their need in relation to the gear to use as I do, it suits me completely,
I think you can classify it in the right microphones and essentially dynamic in terms of percussion
