OVERALL OPINION
I very rarely use since I do not sing.
I have not tried other because they gave me, and we should both choirs, or voice tests, I under the elbow.
The singers I've met a lot like playing with dynamics, for me, the few times I've used it, I have nothing negative to report in particular, except perhaps having to be glued to the microphone, if you move away, it's not out. Suddenly, with a guitar in his hands, not sure this is the most suitable. Again, I'm not an expert.
However, if the SM57 is advisable to dub amp thing I do when I am in a ready, I was required to use the 58 do not always have the 57 available, and although he filled his office ... So, I keep it despite my moderate use of the machine!
