SHURE SM58 ed. Special 40th anniversary - Vocals (chorus) - Cardioid Dynamic Microphone.

I think the following is less "pure technique" (where I lose myself!) Than the average Joe ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since 2008. I had an earlier Audio Technica.
I opted for the SM58 because of its popularity even in professional circles. Given the relative difficulty of stopping a choice of a microphone, it seemed to me that relying on what are "other", and experiences with the groups that ran with this type of gear was the right attitude.
I do not regret this choice.
For --- I find it lacks some sensitivity to my ex-AudioTechnica, but playing on the gain is quite correct.
+ + + For the cons it hangs by very little, if at all (When Larsen shows up on stage, my mic is very rarely the culprit).
I paid € 99 in 2008. The price / quality ratio makes suits me.
With experience, I probably do it again this choice, as it is true that on stage I prefer a mic can be a little less sensitive, but at least does not rot the lives of everyone hanging for a yes or not.
