UTILIZATION

The handle is certainly one of the most agreeable in the world, and I speak from experience because I have some low reference at home (see below). With a profile rather special, very fine, it is very fast and pitch (length nut / Chevallet) makes it intuitive to play.

So I have to say that the equipment is expensive suits me. On my old EBS Fafner (amp that seems to be brought in for the Fender JB ...) I did not like the sound. On my little Trace Elliot combo was already in against a real treat. But it really is since I have my Ampeg SVT CL I really like this bass. Indeed, his microphone and its electronics are so "large" in terms of return on an amp means you tend to get frustrated or even hear the distortion in the bass or treble. This bass sounds good, almost too much so. His attack has no equal, and the heat great. It is also the only active bass I know that the "fat" when you attack the mediator.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 or 3 years now, I bought it used, the previous owner had exchanged against a Fender JB in a store. I have at home a few other low reference (Fender Aerodyne JB, Rick 4003, Noguera expression4) and I do not use it in concert too, but at home to work as it is enjoyable to play on my old small Trace Elliot.

It's really since I got my Ampeg amp that I use as a group on stage and again at the point of not touching my Rick, however, a reference to this amp. The sound is demonic, the two guitarists in my group agree quite the couple bass / drums is only strengthened. In a way, it plays itself: it does not look like that, but against, it sounds so good that it captivates immediately. I have even had to hook the audience with this low just for the line check at the beginning of a concert, or trying the amp in a store.

At first, I must admit that I had primarily bought on a whim (hello the face of the bank account, even occasion, the above does not apply), as c ' is rare and I had tried a Pedullá Buzz a few years ago without being able to buy (much to my regret, for that matter). I regretted a moment to have bought at that time because I do not use it too. But in recent months as I emerged, I found that I hardly touch my other basses, in fact ... So yes, in retrospect, that choice I would do without hesitation.

One last word: it's expensive ... or very expensive depending on the finish you use. But it is handmade. And I would say that the value for money is very very good. We greatly value for money.
