MGR/Bassist on the go
« Squier Affinity P-Bass »
Published on 01/03/03 at 15:00I purchased this particular product from musiciansfriend.com for about $170. The purpose for purchasing the bass was because I needed a good knock-around bass that i could use to practice.
The bass is a magnificent starter-uper. Ideal for musicians who need a bass with which they can just practice with. It is very durable and is a recomended buy for any bassists-to-be.
The bass isn't a very professional model, and is not recomended for any gigs in which you need a well-supported bass.
The bass has a rosewood fingerboard and comes with a durable white plastic pickguard. However you might wish to change the strings if you have ordered from musiciansfriend.com. You also may or may not have a problem with the tone knob. But besides this its overall design is unmatched.
All in all, this bass is a recomended buy and it would be wise to purchase one if you play bass.
