DigiTech GSP21 Legend

I bought this used at Music-Go-Round for $170 (30 off because of a bad cable). I got it because I wanted the flexability of a multi-effects processor and it was reasonably priced.

I love the overall sound of this unit and the variety of effects that can be created with a bit of tweaking. Some people say that the distortion is a bit weak, but I love it. I play a Charvel with a Seymour Duncan Live Wire on the bridge, so I'm sure that helps.

The LCD screen is a bit small. The pedals are a little akward. Other than that, it's great.

It's reasonably well made. The fottswitch unit seems to be very well made.

A very nice unit for the price I paid. Not really a professional grade item, but very nice for the amature/hobbyist.

I bought this second hand stuff in 1999 from Neo House Music School, Charansanitwong, Thailand. It cost me 13,000 baht (or about 400 US Dollars). This is multi effects with foot switch.

Good sound in Chorus, Franger, Reverb, and Delay. Not difficult to operate!! Many types of distortion for you to choose such as overdrive, heavy sustain, and metal tube.

The distortion sound is very thin and not good enough for me. When I press on the foot swith to change channel it takes time about half of 1 second to change, so not good to be used on the stage and concert.

If you want to buy it you'd better use the loop with other type of distortion because the distortion sound is very thin (I prefer Metal Zone, Boss). The other sounds such as Chorus, Flanger, Delay, and Reverb are alright!! Not difficult to operate!!

For those unfamiliar with gsp21 is very well thought out because it: 1) an analog effects section (comp, 4 distos, 7-band EQ, enhancer, EQ, etc.) 2) a loop that allows promising R & D a preamp (which is rgable in series, PARALLEL, etc.) 3) effects numriques coming APRS loop is added in series or in PARALLEL
IN ADDITION, MANY SOUNDS OF GUITAR LEGEND (Tommy Iommi, Steve Morse and many others) are included in the machine or appelattion this series LEGEND.
Possess in a rack for almost everything in the matter of his electric guitar;
the distortion and other plant are amazing.
