USE

A lot of opportunities, not much to complain about the above.

SOUND QUALITY

Ouch. I have it sold after several months, I bought a blindly thinking that it was an evolution of the Intellifex.

Certainly the effects are numerous, but very questionable quality from 4 effects offered by its big brother the Intellifex. It's cold, it sounds digital ... But it's true that you can do many things with it.

Everyone can choose from 11 low-quality effects (the X Pressure), or a few much better effects (Intellifex).

NOTICE GLOBAL

My opinion is only my opinion, but if he can avoid a certain buying this multi thinking it worth the Intellifex ...

All classic effects (see other reviews. I do not know if you can edit them on pc., But given the complexity of setting it might be okay. It's all digital, but very good and transparent. Complete connectivity twelve o'clock etc ...

UTILIZATION

Simple? not really. but this is not a fault it's just that everything is customizable and it takes a while to master before the craft. but once it is done the possibilities are very large. manual and schema are useful. useful to also read the very detailed khronegon here which is a great help advice.

SOUND QUALITY

it's very good the effects are of excellent craftsmanship. careful it's not a multi-purpose preamp. so no saturation and minimal amp simulation. I use it with a JMP1 all in a tube amp ampeg govt and it works perfectly.

OVERALL OPINION

For over a year before I had a ToneLab but also electronic g sharp (very good but only two effects simultaneously and much more limited)
what I like the most sound
less is complex but again it is the fault of his qualités.il also lacks a tuner
secondhand
still excellent value for money.
I intend, however, to part with a G major for two more expensive but more complete (it is mainly for the harmonizer)

i bought this through drumcityguitarland,300 w/ship

its a great upgrade from the intelliflex online,has an eq,spk siml,nice rich choruses,as well as a bunch of the classic effects,it has some really good programs from factory,tweak the eq to match your amp...but clean and quiet

i wish they put the adsr in it like the prophecy unit...

simple to use built well,simple to edit

rocktron has great sounds for afforable prices,i have other processors as well,some way more expensive,but a pain in the ...to use.i play old school metal/hard rock with modern edge,and this product works great for meits a great way to get over your xpression....

Both Analog and Numrique. Finally, it is a little fuzzy in the manual, but I understand, some effects such as Hush, the comp, EQ and Speaker-Sim seem to work in analog while the rest worked numrique . MIDI In connector has indeed a pin 7 pin 5 against usually via cable to power a adquate pdalier twelve o&#39;clock compatible with this standard. It has become more or less a standard on pro hardware, and Rocktron was one of prcurseur.
The principle is simple: Plutt than to lug around the power supply on the pdalier scne, it is left in the rack with the machines. It connects directly to the multi-effects, and the resulting current rises along the MIDI cable, once connected to pdalier, will fuel the latter distance.
Since the MIDI standard has Ralite in need of 5 3-pin to pass its information, both serving the remaining possibly feeding machines, then you just have to add two more pins to be to route the AC / DC current sufficient to run a pdalier.
To see if your pdalier is compatible with this mode of use, you simply take a look at its MIDI OUT. If it has 7 pins, not five, you win.

UTILIZATION

Another small difficulty: The Xpression has two routing mode: Rotary Classic. The first allows you to use the effect of m ^ m name but prohibits the use of some other effects. Unfortunately, this settings can not be changed by patches and patches is gnral for all presets. This is probably a limitation of computing power that would require a DSP ddi to allow the use of this effect in m ^ m with the other.
So, in this mode, you can not use the Hush, the Comp, EQ, the Speaker-Sim, Delay and Reverb. Too bad, but not trsgnant given the quality of the chorus in Classic mode.

My Rocktron Piranha is a prampli and my amplifier is a duet power amplifier monitoring Interm By 2075 Fender 2X12 cabinet Inkel + "in Mount Yamaha speakers.
All original and Mount bnficier for a law and its hyper-neutral amplification and so does color the sound with the pramp and effects.
