j'vite up the goat or the export, there is too much loss on the sound, I record by playing DAT machine - 3dB margin to allow the mastering.

I read things that surprised me relative to this machine.
I've heard of breath ... breath? all analog consoles blow over this card, if you use a DM2000 with headphones OK Sheinneizer the limit you will hear a lightweight breath, but then pushing svrement the knobs.

+: C simple, you plug it and install it works.
+: The power via firewire c very practical, in real I never touch the on / off button, the map lights and s'teind with my pc.
+: The quality of preamps even if I feel that opinions are divided on this level. at least a couple m-audio nova which is not really a monster, the knob of the preamp is only half and I can push it to 9/10eme before hearing the slightest breeze, I in the clear margin. In addition to the preamp is trs transparent quality for some default for the other ... but its good for its color nothing beats a preamp a lamp, and the sound is good potato, do not wait a sound card or a preamp ... rather blame your compressor.

The pramps of good quality and especially the RCA connectors (very little Submitted on sound cards in this range) and the possibility to record jusqu'en192kHz motivated my choice!
I use it with Logic Express 8 and Ableton Live 6 for recording synths and midi.
I turn on a mac pro 2 GB RAM quadcoeur and the card is stable trs (along with any interface would be stable with such a system ....)

UTILIZATION

Installation very easy mac, the branch and works, it's one of the CHARACTERISTICS that made me switch to windows mac.
The manual is useless for this card trs easy to use.

I have been using for over a year, I am satisfied but still with one caveat:

AIM I have more output level, I find the recordings a little soft, so I have to add qq plugging to boost the signal.

For me 2007 was a good compromise (price nb entries; firewire) as motus taient off-budget to me. Now there is the opportunity to fa66 by 150 on Ebay;
If we had the choice again today, although I would hesitate between a presonus or motu for more entries.

Well, in the end, I put 8 / 10. It's cheap, it's good stuff, easy to use, the fan will not be lost and the novice can navigate. Firewire is handy and level drivers is particularly stable with the following config.
