Value For Money : Excellent
- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
Firewire, the two combos neutrik, noon, the quality of manufacturing by Roland, one of the preamp / converter, the rate of chantillonage.

- For what purpose?
Home studio / live / recording / playback

- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
3GHz Pentium 3, 512MB RAM, 80 GB hard drive, and Cubase SX3.

- Which instruments or Systmes (console, prampli, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
I use it between my computer and my mixer (Alto S-8) XLR / Jack. I have no preamp for insant or rack effects, but for isntant has more than enough
I put 8 toujorus because you can do better, in terms of connectivity, for example ...
Two headphone outputs would not have too many t for example. And then the rglage output volume the same for the headphone and out ... Too bad!

UTILIZATION

- Installation is it without problem?
Since my computer is older (5 years), I was afraid that there are problems, but no, I have a little gallery in the beginners as it is my first external sound card, no everything works niquel problem with Real player and Cubase.

- Have you experienced any incompatibility?
No.

- The configuration gnrale is easy?
One has to know a little bit to configure the card under windows, but the installation of drivers is very easy!

- The manual is clear and sufficient?
The manual is in English and should be read for the procedure followed to configure the beast under Windows.

GETTING STARTED

- The drivers are stable?
Yes, no problem.

- What software do you use most often?
Cubase SX3, Krystal Audio Engine

- What you get lag?
10 ms with a PCI Firewire 8

- How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment?
2 (mic / instrument) but I plan to buy a lamp and pramp and use the rca 3 / 4 in line (I use almost as microphones) and then the SPDIF (if pramp features an output numrique). So 3 or 4 (if I take two pramp). I put 7 because not enough analog inputs.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
One week

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
As: transparency, no breath
The least: no management interface on the computer.

- How do you report qualitprix?
Great

- With the exprience, you do again this choice?
Yes probably, or else the 410 FW M-Audio for two headphone outputs, and then our Tapco Link USB 4 in his ... Or the FA 101.

Edit: So APRS almost two years of use I am always happy, no worries.
In terms of pramps there to say, they are trs own, they do almost no color, almost no wind and it's happiness but against a vibrant must push them back to be level. So a prvoir prampli for more potatoes, more grain and also better sound. Otherwise converters are doing their job properly. APRS is the stuff that score "only" 279 (the era, big star's music promo) it is clear that a is not the RME and stuff but you will have a pro rsultat more than friendly. If you have pramps lamp Bonen quality is even better ...
